I have no problem with Elriel. I think it is a fine ship and most of you have good reasons to ship it. No, I personally do not think that this is where the narrative is going, trust me, I am not a vibes-shipper, if I thought it was going that way I’d support Elain and Azriel. But I am always happy for someone to come debate me, raise counter arguments or explain their own interpretation of the text. I am open to being wrong. Always.

However, if you are arguing on the basis of some kind of moral superiority, complete and blatant misunderstanding of the story or are plain disrespectful, I will not respond to or post your message. Here is why:

1. People who follow me share my view of the story. They are sensitised to the discourse and I have no wish to trigger people who follow me in good faith with some nonsense.

2. I don’t think YOU know what you are potentially exposing yourself to in terms of people’s response. Anon or not, you will read the replies and comments on your message and it will upset you. I don’t want YOU to get your feelings hurt either.

3. Some interpretations of the story are so genuinely far off the mark I can only imagine one of two reasons have led you to come into my ask box and write them: you are either FAR younger than me and don’t know better. OR, and I mean this without condescension or malice, you have simply not been afforded a level of education that has equipped you with the tools to engage with the material rationally. If that is the case, we cannot argue on eye level. I don’t get joy out of humiliating others.

Shoot. I really don’t think I have a top ten of all time. I’m not one that a huge music buff and will listen to pretty much anything if I think it’s catchy. I literally have a plethora of playlists sometimes of only one or two songs from artists just because they’re catchy, while others I have a LOT of. Anyway, here’s the top ten I’ve been listening to the most lately because I’ve been enjoying them. lol you can tell I’m still listening to some of the Off Campus playlist.

Snakes, I’m terrified of them, nope nope I literally CANNOT.

84. Chocolate or rainbow sprinkles?

Rainbow, allll day. I’ve gone through some very unhealthy (for my normal diet) phases before where I used to eat bowls of ice cream that was probably 90% sprinkles and 10% ice cream. Okay I’m exaggerating but I love sprinkles. Chocolate sprinkles are good too but the rainbow ones are my fave.
