Friendly reminder that there is a difference between "not supporting" and "hating". Think of the people who simply "don't support" something as the Canadians of the situation. They try as hard as they can to maintain peace, as they really don't care about what you're fighting for, so long as it doesn't effect any relationship you may have, even as mutual strangers. Haters tend to go out of their way to present an opposing opinion and press it into your face, and affirm their viewpoint in their own lives. As a non-supporter, I will admit it hurts when we are accused of being haters. Honestly, non-supporters still believe your opinion is as valid and important as their own, even if it's different. Thank you for reading today's rant.
