I understand Little women more each year, as I and my sisters grow older.

It's beautiful as much as it's sad.

Fear will make you prolong what you're sure you're capable of. Fear will make situations seem so hard and everlasting, that you begin to let your life and your existence revolve around that particular thing. It makes you ungrateful and loose your spark. Fear is so not worth it.

The thing is, whatever you fear will come and the next day, the cock will crow and the sun will rise on your roof and the clouds will open for rain to pour. And sand will still be sand, and the grasses will still be green and the clouds will not turn red because of your fear. And your heart may palpitate and want to fall but it will not. And you will wake up on your bed, you will make your cup of coffee and you will still survive.

And when you finally face your fear like a coward you'll realize "was this what I feared?"; "it wasn't even worth my thinking energy". But that's what fear does and of course the stubborn human heart can never learn from the mistake. When the next situation comes, it's the same cycle.
