Allie felt a little stupid for assuming he was a fellow contestant, but tried to shake the feeling.Â
âYeah just a bit ago. Seems like anâŚinteresting place.â she mused, looking around at their environment. âSo when does filming officially start?â she asked, studying Bailey. In her past experience it was smart to be on the cameramenâs good side.Â
Bailey regarded her like he would an impressive feat of architecture in a foreign country; clinical, fleeting, and a little uncomfortable. His focus was on the job at hand-- familiarizing himself with the set-- and hoping against hope that this was all just a tasteless joke arranged by Jack. After ten months of communicating almost exclusively with elephants, he had a hard time coping with the scrutiny of... well, a person.
Bailey scrubbed his hand over the stubble that already shadowed his face, turning to regard the stables in the distance. Limited options for framing, but he could work with that. âTuesday, seven AM. Donât wear yellow.â Heâd heard the EP was salivating for shots of the contestants in the cornfield, which could only mean a sweltering day, long hours, and an egregious amount of complaining. âHave you done this before?â He could only hope that sheâd be a seasoned pro at this, considering his own lack of experience with reality TV (both watching and contributing).
