Alright so we've seen that KITT is ticklish but what about KARR, can we get one of where the reader finds out his ticklish and likes to catch him off guard when given the chance?
I got permission from the creator, because whenever someone requests something about KARR I can only see the KARR from The Runaways. Iām sorry it took me so long and its a bit short, but if i may be honest, I see KARR laughing more about you telling him a joke rather than tickles, but I tried. Please enjoy!
āAnd that's how I almost got suspended from collegeā- you finished with a smug smile, patting KARRĀ“s hood and relaxing against him.
KARR huffed, giving a soft rumble when you placed your back over his windshield once again. āI knew you were petty and had a mischievous side Y/N, but IĀ“d never have guessed you were that foolish and stupid...ā
You shrugged and did a āpeace outā sign. āIt comes naturally, KARR, you know it. Besides, if it wasn't for my foolishness and stupidity, you wouldn't be here, and we surely wouldnāt be relaxing and enjoying ourselves, right?ā
KARR growled something you couldn't catch.
āSorry, I didn't hear that. Could you repeat it please?ā- you asked mockingly, cupping your ear and leaning in.
āI said, youĀ“re sadly right Y/Nā- he admitted, raising his voice. āBut sometimes I do wish you were a bit more careful and less foolishā.
āYou really do? Come on, donĀ“t lie to me... I know you well enough by now KARRā -you teased him, drumming your fingers on his hood. āBesides, I managed to survive this long being this way, and guess what? Now IĀ“ve got you to keep me safe and away from my stupidities, right?ā
āLike I have another optionā¦ā
āYes Y/N, IĀ“ll protect you and IĀ“ll be there for you alwaysā- he admitted embarrassed, giving in knowing how insistent you could become in such matters.
āThank you KARR, youĀ“re a true darlingā- you thanked him with a knowing smile and a wink.
He grumbled, trying to act annoyed, but his engine gave a purr and you knew he was just acting like he always did. You gave a chuckle and petted his hood softly once again.
KARR had been a true and very difficult hardhead to deal with since you rescued him. He had been partially thankful, as thankful as a killer mistreated AI could be, but he had allowed you to stay with him. Whether it was because he needed a driver or because he was truly thankful you didnāt know, but at the moment, it didnāt matter. Both of you were fugitives, so it was either leaving with him or face jail.
And as cocky and daring and daredevil and mischievous you were, you are still a softie for jail.
āAin't nobody gonna make me wear an orange jumpsuitā¦ā- you said to yourself, sliding over KARRĀ“s hood and shielding your eyes from the sun. āI mean, I would have free food and a bed, but that's not all that matters to me right nowā¦ā
True, it had been what you were worried about the first weeks. Food, water and a place to stay without being identified and reported to the police had been your main worries, and also keeping KARR on a low profile. It wasn't a very common daily thing to see a car like himā¦ But surprisingly, the hardest part had been to be constantly moving from one place to another. You liked adventure and everything, but being only for a week in each place was tiringā¦ you couldn't really relax and get some time to restā¦
And let's not talk about the money issue.
āLucky me, I have KARR, who knows how to hack some bank accounts and has decided to help me in my superhero wannabe adventuresā ā you laughed internally, and you started to run your fingers softly over his hood.
He had been a witty, bratty, hardhead, pessimist, a bit scary and crazy companion in the beginning. All your fights (over which way to go or where to eat), the nights you had to sleep inside him (something he despised at first, the only time of the day in which he could be left alone and you had to be thereā¦) or simply your clothing (really, how could a car know more than you on clothing and style?!?) had all made you rethink your situation and wonder of you should have stayed back at FLAG and never take KARR. Your fights had been so strong sometimes, and let's be real, he could be quite manipulating and intimidating, that you had ended crying in your bed, clutching your phone and considering contacting Devon, but you always fell asleep before even deciding it. And you were happy for it.
Sure, KARR was still scary and showed some crazy problems, and his voice sometimes took a dark turn and made you shiver, but he had shown more than once he would never hurt you. Tease you? Yes, but that was his way of showing he cared.
In the end, KARR had been a cornered animal that was just clawing desperately to pretend he had some strength and power, but he was just attacking aimlessly. KARR really was a baby, a big, scary, dangerous and mistreated baby that struggled with his feelings and his reason to exist. Not being the car of the future had made him question everything, and not finding his purpose had made him go crazy. That, and all the people he had met that only used him. Poor thing also had trust issues in the beginningā¦
He just needed a purpose and a driver. Thatās it, all he needed was that, it was what he was programmed for if you stopped to think about itā¦
Now he had a driver; a foolish, stupid, witty and daredevil driver, but you gave him also a purpose. Keep you out of the trouble and danger you brought upon yourself.
āAnd even though he doesnāt know, just by being here heās already fulfilling his purpose: live. Thatās all he needs to do, live for him and for the ones he cares the most, which I hope Iām part ofā¦ā
So sappyā¦ but thatās how KARR made you feel. Maybe, one dayā¦
You got surprised when you felt KARRĀ“s engine rumbling and abruptly stopping. Has he now acquired the ability to read minds? Was he laughing at you? Had you said that aloud?
Then you realized. You had been idly petting and leaving feather touches on his hood all this time. Was it bothering him? Hurting? Annoying? Was it-?
No, impossible. Could heā¦? Maybeā¦
Was KARR ticklish? Oh no, was he?!? Now you wanted to know! You needed to know!
You hid your smile as best as you could, and you pretended to keep resting, but you were paying attention to any small sound he made. Maybe he was ticklish, or maybe you were hurting him, you wanted to make sure. You kept petting his hood softly, making patterns with your fingers with very light pressure.
There was it again, the engine rumble, and now you could hear a small groan too, but not a pained one. It was more likeā¦ strained? But happy?
That was a tremble! He had just trembled on his wheels! And a chuckle!
Your smile widened. KARR was ticklish! Oh how cute!
You lowered your other arm and started to make the same motions as the other arm, now reaching a bit further and going over to the side of his hood, reaching back and going towards his fronts as far as you could, all very slow and soft, just like you would tickle someoneās arm.
His engine started by itself, and you heard him trying to hide his chuckles.
āKARR?ā- you asked with a teasing voice, keeping your touches.
He kept silent for a few seconds, trying to control his voice. āYes Y/N?ā- he managed to strain, although you think you heard a small squeak at the end.
āAre you feeling ok?ā- you mockingly asked with a smirk, rising up and sitting crossed legged on his hood, moving your touches to the area next to his scanner. āYou sound a bit strainedā¦ā
āYes-!ā- he said, his voice squeaked when you got near his scanner. āIāmā¦ haā¦ Iām perfectly fineā
āI do know youāre fine, you donāt need to remind meā- you said, letting a compliment slip. You felt his engine rumbling, and whether it was because the compliment or your touches, you didnāt care. āYou sure youāre ok? Do you want to tell me something?ā
āNo, Iāmā¦ hahahahaha, everythingās *hng*, Iām-! Y/N-! Not there, please! Hahahaha!ā
There it is, thatās what you wanted to know. KARR is ticklish indeed.
He now didnāt try to hide his laugh. His deep, rumbling, hearty laugh now was free, and also his body was trembling and his engine rumbling. His laugh was deep, and when you got closer to his scanner, it became high and he pleaded for you to not go there, but you kept doing it. He also backed off a bit when you did it, it was like his engine was also laughing. It was cute and endearing, to see KARR like thisā¦ and for you to be the one that made him laughā¦
After a while of getting all the laughs you wanted, you started to slowly stop the tickles and change them for strokes. You helped KARR relax, and try to āregain his breathā back, so to speak.
When he gave content sighs, you gave him a small smile. āIt wasn't painful, was it? Not even when I got closer to your canner, right?ā- you asked now concerned, thinking that maybe in your happy haze you may have hurt him.
KARR gave a long sigh and purred, his surface warming a bit at your touch. āNo, Y/N, you didnāt hurt meā¦ā- he said with a lazy voice. āIt was ratherā¦ pleasurable? Iām not sure, it felt strange, but I enjoyed itā¦ I liked itā¦ā
Your smile widened, and you layed back over his hood, reading with him. You heard his engine start to purr, and you snuggled as best as you could. āI'm gladā¦ā- you sighed, keeping the pets.
Both of you stayed in a pleasant silence. KARR could laughā¦ I mean, you knew he could laugh, but until now, they were chuckles and smirks, not laughs. But you were glad you discovered he could laugh like thatā¦ it was cuteā¦
āIām gonna make you laugh harder thoughā- you added before becoming too comfortable. āNow that I know one of your weaknesses, you should know Iām gonna use it for my advantage. Youāre gonna laugh louder next time, Iām gonna make you laughā.
KARRĀ“s engine rumbled and purred, and he became warmer. āI know you will, Y/N...ā- he said with a soft voice.
