Ask Risotto Nero (and La Squadra)

(( @weeklyboss ? more like i’m WEAKlyboss. idk why but that post gave me a lot of feelings and one of those was ‘old vocaloid songs’. i refuse to color or line this but here’s a take on magnet with dia and ris... this is my contribution to the bdjjba community guys

( working on something very possibly related to a fight scene between @doppio-daily and riz. I have basically no experience with animation but uh I kinda like how this turned out enough that I thought I'd post it while it's still in the early phases and I haven't completely ruined it yet?

(What should I do for the occasion omg! Perhaps I should plan a livestream? Or maybe I'll do some drawing requests ten years from now when I finish clearing my inbox? (Btw please keep sending me asks I love them I'm just lazy and may take a million years to get to it))

The lone cyborg who had been boarding his horse seems to stop in his tracks. His body is bathed in darkness, and his face is veiled with a translucent black fabric, however the mechanical parts of him glow with a soft but steady red and the lantern at his feet radiates a sickly pale light. With this pale light one can clearly see the only part of him that doesn’t appear to be colored brightly or robotic- his brown leather boots, complete with spurs. It’s hard to tell exactly what his expression would be portraying but the bright glare of his eyes behind the veil seems to have focused inward on the newcomer. He proceeds to tilt down his head, his hat obscuring his gleaming eyes for a moment before he looking back up. “… Who are you? The sheriff of fashion-town?” He spoke, his deep voice a little affected and echoey as it bounced slightly off of his metal jaw. He stepped down slightly from where he had hooked his boot on the stirrup down to the dry cracked ground with a little puff of dust.

His appearance is pretty standout so he tries to lay low, but unsurprisingly tends to get wound up in a lot of trouble.

“We don’t spend much time with the boss around in the first place. We carry out missions as we see fit and some members of la squadra cook. On chilly mornings you can catch a dressed up Prosciutto and the Capo out near the ocean, wearing any new fashion pieces they’ve acquired and trying to hide the smoke of cigarettes with their own white breath.”  - Illuso’s notes on the subject.

A bit of a strange character. They are extremely devoted to their teammates above all else, although they’re often torn between being extremely introverted and extroverted, making them temperamental and unstable. Their strange confidence seems to be some sort of coping mechanism. They have a lot of appreciation for their appearance and spend at least a couple hours getting ready a day. Also they’re 6′7″ and decently more jacked than they first appear, hiding most of their muscle with a feathery boa. In language they frequently switch between French, Italian, and English and when they threaten you it’s clear regardless of which they’re speaking.
