A DISCLAIMER: i do not condone the things that peter does in the show. i find him to be a psychologically interesting character to write, and i think that the rpc gets boring without any conflict-causing characters to make things Big Bad. peter quint is a bad man who deserved what he got, and i’m not planning on romanticizing him or making him seem valid in his choices. whether or not he has reasons for the way he is, he does not have excuses.

       there are a lot of things he wants. if he were to give her the full list of things he wants, she would probably not be surprised by any of them though. it’s not as if telling her that he craves control is going to be an interesting conversation starter, as if telling her that he wants more money and less of doing what other people want him to do is really going to make her care. she doesn’t like him, she’s decided that pretty clearly, and he doesn’t really like her either. that comes in with the control thing; he can’t control jamie, and so she’s barely a blip on his radar. usually.

          YOU KNOW, THE OTHERS... well, they seem to go to lots of places, don’t they? becs, the kids. they get to hop around into their warmest little memories, the nicest little moments... and i always end up here. it’s hell. it’s like i’m in hell.
