I wanted to put this out there, since I know Breyer is active on FB and Instagram, but not really elsewhere as far as I know. But I appreciate them still maintaining a positive and persistent position on Pride and Pride Month and all of that, especially when other loser corporations have knuckled under or abandoned it when it was no longer profitable. I'm not gonna be all 'corporations are our friends!' now, but it's a positive note in the morass of awful coming out of the US, and I wanted to share it with you guys!

Happy Pride! Wow, these photos were from October 2024, but they’re perfect for every season of pride! 🌈✨🌈 These beauties are the daily stablemate exclusives from Breyerfest 2024, and their names are based on song titles! We have Make It Pop Like Pink Champagne, Waiting For That Green Light, Suddenly I Was A Lilac Sky, and Blue Jeans, White Shirt. As soon as I saw these lovelies announced, I knew I HAD to have them! Splatter dappled decos?! SOLD!!! 🤩🌈✨🌈 What songs do you think these are based on? 🎶

Oops, time to dig back into the archives! Some of the time it takes is digging through my blog, making sure I haven’t already posted them! This is a set that you wont see loose, because this is a set I grabbed for my friend in… 2024. 🤣 Yep, Breyerfest 2024! This is the Best of Breyerfest Stablemates Collection, Series 5!

The Breyer horse models usually come with a cute little pamphlet to advertise all of their other toys, and this Paint Your Own Horses kit with blank Little Bits came with an extensive guide in how to paint your horse! I thought you guys might enjoy it!

Another delayed pony post! This is also from January 2025, since these were from Christmas 2024! These are Paint Your Own Horses Quarter Horse & Saddlebred, which are both on the Little Bit/Saddle Club scale. (I know them as the Saddle Club horses anyway, from my own childhood!) I think they are so cool as blanks, idk if I’ll paint them! But they come with lots of painting suggestions in the booklet!

So around Christmas last year… wait, okay, Christmas 2024, Macy’s had the LPS set with yellow shark on sale on their website! But if you spent over $X, you got free shipping… so I added on Natalie, the western rider with tack! I will say, I did not expect to receive plastic tack from Breyer, but I suppose since it’s for the Classic sized line, they figure it’s more for kids? Adults wanna play horse rider too! 🤣 I wanted to immediately tack up a horse for her, and forgot my box of childhood Classic horses is currently missing in the garage! 😕 Sad!! So for now, Natalie is horseless and out-of-box photoless! I will try to remedy that soon! … ish! 🤣

Phew, I’ve run out of new photos! So that means, time to dig through my old pics! 🤣 Tonight we are drawing from January 2025, a beautiful decorator from fall 2024, Zulu the zebra! Of course I hoped I’d have loose photos of her by now, but hey! 🤣 I think some collectors figure she’s probably a zorse, since she’s on a horse mold, but whatever she is I think she’s just STUNNING! 🤩 I absolutely love this girl, and I loooove her colors! I knew I wanted her as soon as she was announced! 🦓

Gems of the Ocean Gift Set by Breyer! While this is a very colorful and pride-y type set, I actually saw them around Breyerfest last year and really liked them! They’re like little pieces of frosted sea glass, so inventive and lovely!! They’re basically little decorator unicorns, so of course they’re right up my alley!

I’m pretty late for the start of Pride month, but I still have some lovely rainbows to share! Happy Pride everyone! 🌈🌈🌈

Surprise! More Second Chance Sales from Breyerfest 2025! I was hoping to get a Prosecco (and maybe one for my friend!), and of course I got everyone else! 🤣 They’re all lovely of course, I’m really fond of Mimosa, and Bellini is also very cute, I don’t think I have either of those poses! Cava is probably my least favorite, but I should like him more - his leg raise looks very similar to the unicorn Glory from the MLP line, and she’s basically my favorite! 🤣

Of course I had to get some comparison photos of YOLO and Wells, from Breyerfest 2023… Driver’s Ed!? 🤣 Ah, Google AI is so helpful! 🙄 Two handsome drafts with dapples, although one is glossy and one is matte!

IDK if it's the Pope's announcement, but as of around 5am PST, every single ad I'm getting on Instagram is AI. It's AI businesses, AI consulting teams, I got an AI children's book, it's just ... all AI. And if it's not openly AI, it's "businesses" (music consulting, realtors?) who all have AI-created profiles, and they all start looking the same after the tenth ad. Someone (Facebook/Meta) is pushing AI incredibly hard, and even if it wastes precious doom scrolling time, I'm blocking every single ad I get. No amount of 'see, everyone else is doing it!' is going to make me like or use AI, and in fact shoving ads in my face makes me hate it even more viscerally! In fact I'm on an unrelated social media, talking about what a piece of shit you are, Meta!
