Step into 1950s and 60s West Virginia with Tales From My Mother's Childhood: the Coloring Book.
Inspired by the memories of my mother, who grew up half a century ago in wild, wonderful West Virginia. My mom has told her stories to my siblings and me as long as we can remember, and I decided to encapsulate those stories into a series of coloring pages for others to enjoy. Each page is based off one of my mother's memories, rendered and filtered through a child's mindset. From simple moments of my mom's life to specific, colorful events, there's plenty to color and discover.
While all you might think of when Appalachia comes to mind is mountains, there's so much more. Bears, bike rides into creeks, skunks, cats, and more await you within these pages.
- 30 unique coloring pages inspired by my mother's childhood memories. - Family-friendly illustrations for children and adults of all ages. - Single-sided coloring pages to prevent bleed-through. - Short description of what each page represents for better understanding of the memory presented. - All coloring pages drawn digitally with no use of AI.
This coloring book is a celebration of my mother's life, and we hope you'll enjoy it right along with us. Now walk down the country roads along with us.
