There comes a time when everything perfect just falls into place.

If I told you I needed to see you one more time, would you mistake that for weakness?

We kissed, I liked it...

I'm starting to like you, more than I intended...

And I still fell for your lies, despite knowing very well you were deceiving, shady, and untrustworthy...

I am still trying to figure this out. At times I feel that it is perfect between us and there is nothing that needs fixing. Then there comes times where you act distant and cold and I feel lost.

You promised; I opened up. You failed; I was right from the start...

I hope this illusion is worth my vulnerability.

I guess you could say it’s my fault I hoped to become something more. But you didn’t help stop it either.

And just like that, you vanished into thin air. Without a trace, you left me behind. Having no care in the world, you broke me into pieces. So from now on, you made me a little less naive.

Trust me, I’m only capable of loving myself. So why are you still around?

As of right now, I only have two options left... To be the heartless monster who leaves or to be the dumb naive who stays. Either way, I’m looking at a loss on both ends.

The moon keeps all my secrets from the world. The stars help keep them safe. But the sun betrays me and lets them be known.
