I have been going through a pretty bad health crisis since late August. You've seen me pop my head up since then, but things took a turn since I asked for situations to put Frank in.

I'll say upfront that I have started to recover, we still don't know what actually went wrong. As far as I know I'm not in any imminent danger of just keeling over, so please don't worry about that, but it's still a long steep hill that I am climbing to make my life manageable until we figure it out.

I had to stop doing like.... everything to deal with this since it hit. It was an extremely difficult time, but in the last month or so things have started to improve a little bit.

My goal is to slowly get back to what I used to do, which just so happens to include doing art!

After such a long break and given that I am still going though... whatever this ick ends up being, things are probably going to be either very simple or very shaky (or both!). And whatever it will be it will be slow.

I need to take more breaks, not be at it as long, all that jazz.

Just a warm up doodle for one of the Franks, but I ended up liking it a lot so it got cropped and coloured.

Thank you for all the Frank suggestions, they will be worked on. I thought I was feeling better enough to work on them more, but apparently I'm not as well as I hoped.

I'd like to put the little man into different places but because of recent health bullshit my brain is fried.

So I figured I'd open it up for those who know and love Frank.

Loser (Just Like Me)

This turned out better than I anticipated.

The camera looses the difference between the red of Husk's details and the custom red/pink I made for Angel's gloves a little which is a shame.

My linework is getting so much better though... I am happy with this progress.

I forgot I painted Stolas sad and opened him backwards, so when I turned him to face me I gasped and was like "oh no sad birb!"

Like...yeah....you made him that way Pom....

Anyway i think this is my best figure painting yet. Much better consistency than Date Night Stolas or the pokemons.

The custom mixed colours turned out perfectly! I was worried the face would turn out too blue or too green but really hit the bullseye!

I decided to add a little pop of colour to the back, so this Bulbasaur is so full of exp that the bud on its back can hardly hold back the evolution to Ivysaur. The little pink part is raised so you can feel the power about to burst out.

Egg-Father

Unable to sire a brood of his own, he was tasked with guarding and warming the eggs of others. His true name was lost to time as other family members started calling him "Egg-Father" as an insult, but he took the mantle to heart.

Never truly allowed to interact with the hatchlings, they will never know his service. However, when they hear his voice they feel a warmth in their hearts they cannot truly understand.
