Yarara is a strict, emotionally repressed officer who values discipline above almost everything else. He believes mistakes must have consequences, because pain and correction are what shaped him into someone "useful."

He rarely raises his voice. He maintains a calm, almost pleasant demeanor even while threatening or intimidating others. His constant smile makes him difficult to read.

He dislikes: incompetence, insolence, excuses, disobedience.

They inconvenience him and he sees them as moral failings.

Yarara holds himself to the same brutal standards he imposes on others. He used to punish himself severely during training after mistakes, pushing through injuries to prove that pain would never reduce his worth. Because of this, he struggles to understand why others "break" under pressure.

Since he spends so much energy controlling himself, an emotional break becomes explosive and disproportionate.

A middling officer with obvious discipline problems. Technically effective. Excellent combatant. Terrible emotionally. Barely tolerated by higher-ups because results matter

"We can't promote Yarara further, but we can't deny he gets missions done."

He genuinely believes everyone should endure what he endured.

Lucky for... pretty much everyone. Since getting his platoon he has gotten a warning from HQ, his punishments have become less frequent or completely absent.

Though he still disciplines himself.

He likes tea and pastries! Those luxury ones, and arranged in a very specific way. During meetings he's fidgeting with the plates just to have it all proper for himself.

He also remembers how every one of his subordinates likes their tea.
