Had I known this portrait of Toody Cole and my '61 Studebaker Hawk was gonna come out this great, I woulda brought a film camera! She asked if the car had a name, and I said I felt like just "The Hawk" is a cool enough name. She said when her and Fred lived in the Nevada desert, the only sign out there in the middle of nowhere was a hand-painted piece of wood that said "To Bar" with an arrow pointing the direction to the one local watering hole. They bought an old junked out car while there, and dutifully named it "To Bar"! 💜💜💜
