Prepare for yap, I haven't been on Tumblr in AGES (last post in 2018 good lawd) and I have much to say...
This is my guy Marrowstar!! I made him originally for an AU I'm working on and he's since quickly become one of my fave little blorbos... It's an AU in the sense that it's completely divorced from all preexisting canon characters, simply because I CANNOT be bothered with any of their complicated ass relationships or family trees :[ The Erins are not making it easy on me lmao
Anyway in the AU, there's been something odd happening with twolegs for about a year now- noticeably, all activity close to the clans has ceased from them-monster sightings have slowed on the thunderpath, and kittypets who are indoor-outdoor haven't been seen around.
That's because I have no self control and this is a zombie AU lmao, anyway it begins with humans and then spreads to dogs, leading to the clans all migrating over the river that separates the city from the forest. All the clans, except... one?
Marrowstar, beginning as Marrowcrunch, and before that simply 'Crunchy,' was a former kittypet, left behind by his humans, who then adopted the clan lifestyle. He began having dreams of what he believed to be Starclan reaching out to him, blurry and undecipherable... the warriors surrounding him didn't quite believe him, but didn't have the heart to outright deny him either, for the most part. His earnest attitude earned him plenty of friends among the clan (haven't figured out which one he's joining yet.)
He strived to one day become the leader of his own clan, constantly proclaiming that he'd do it 'the right way' and eventually split off from his adopted clan. He followed their rules strictly, knew the code by heart, and respected Starclan greatly. It wasn't until he began exploring the now-abandoned Twoleg city that he formed Rubbleclan, made up of strays, rogues, and kittypets trapped in their former owner's buildings after the virus broke out that he officially became a leader.
After inspiring a group of his newfound friends to believe in Starclan and respect him as a strong personality, a star-shaped spot appeared upon his chest, his visions became clearer, and he was granted his nine lives.
