unfortunately, for me, I’ve been thinking about the end of season two of severance again and a lot about the Greek myth stuff. Finally clicked with me, which goes to show that I’m just a big dumb idiot cause it’s it’s it’s obvious as hell now that I’ve bothered to think about it. You know the severed level you literally descend into it. Mark goes down there looking for his wife and not really, but in a subconscious way, very Orpheus looking for Eyuridice and the whole end of season two it seems like it’s meant to emulate that myth Orpheus turning back, but that’s only if you ignore on the other side of the door Gemma it’s an interesting version it’s like Orpheus shoved her out of the underworld and instead it consumed him because he fell in love with someone else down there
