Cool uncle vibes, honestly. Barak would be the type to unironically wear sunglasses inside for the Cool Factor™. During his younger tears, he was definitely a friendly jock who simultaneously kicked butt in sporty activities and kept a quirky and well-loved social profile in his personal life. He's always been popular with his peers. 

Nowadays, he's taken that verve and applied it to his job as a charismatic gym leader. And hoooo boy do the League and fans love it. He's a star, hip with both his own and the younger generation. Barak's the type who barely has to try–he's just a natural magnet for affection and his signature winning smile makes for a powerful marketing tool. Whether he enjoys being exploited by the League is another matter altogether, but he covers it up well and tries his best not to bite the hand that feeds him and gives him influence.

Phaedra is a mix of traits that truly makes for someone whose actions are driven by ideals in the right places, but morals in the wrong ones. Having been saved by Saros from something bad in her past, she feels that she owes him and is generally one of the first to heed his bidding. On the one hand, she has her heart in what she believes–or at least hopes–is the right place, telling herself that even the extremes she participates in now are for the good of the many down the line. But, on the other, she's only managing to cause further harm. 

Phaedra made some poor choices in her younger years and has had a record of getting herself into dicey power imbalances. She accidentally almost killed a popular political talk-show host she used to work for when he threatened and attempted to blackmail her. She could have been ended for it, but Saros saw his chance and saved her the face, instead blackmailing her to work for him. Fantastic. She both feels that she owes him and she wants her named cleared, so she continues.

Phaedra longs to have her scourges washed away, something that her sensitive soul has managed to convince itself is possible alongside the megalomaniac champion. However, it seems she's only been digging herself into a deeper trench instead. Though she is often full of insight, she, too, allows herself to be silenced by Saros and his questionable whims more often that she should. To cope with her questionable life choices, the one thing she strictly adheres to is a moral "code" of sorts, dictating the types of people she tries to avoid harming, such as elders and children.

If "pompous assholery" or "huge ego, sorry" had dictionary definitions, they would simply features a picture of Ludovic's face. He's that type who thinks he's hot shit and gets off on things like playing "devil's advocate" to show off his perceived intellect, even where wildly inappropriate. He comes from a wealthy family that never told him 'no' and you can absolutely tell. 

Ludovic likes to think of himself as possessing immense amounts of knowledge to impart on those around him and, to his credit, he is rather quick on his feet. But, when it comes to actual world experience...he's grown up in a bubble. Ludovic is desperate to please and be rewarded, but also highly argumentative and a bit narcissistic, leading him to shoot himself in the foot, more often than he'd like to admit. He's also insensitive to the needs and thoughts of others, which doesn't lend itself well too pokemon training. He's really mediocre on that front, but tries to play it off like he's better than he is. He wouldn't want anyone to know that.

Recently, Ludovic had an embarrassing and public fuck-up that caused a PR nightmare for the League and is looking to redeem himself/impress Saros again. He also just kinda wants to Snoop™️. Think Draco Malfoy, but with less chill. He was Dima's replacement in the league. She was higher up than him, but he didn't inherit her rank because he has a bit less experience than she did. He's salty about this and plays it off like he's better than everyone else. Really just has average battling skills. 

Ludovic comes from a rich family with connections to Saros.

🌿 28 🌿 She/her 🌿 Keplyad Town - Nymph Badge (Grass Type) 🌿 Hardy nature

Rosamund gets things done. A strong-willed woman with an honest soul, she's someone who lets her drive take her far and isn't afraid to tell something like it is. She's also highly organized in both her life and her thought process, making her a natural leader for those around her, as well as someone who can be relied on to have a level head on her shoulders. She's patient and content to play the long game because she knows the rewards of doing so will be great.

Sometimes, Rosamund can have difficulty expressing her emotions and may become inadvertently judgmental when someone doesn't meet her high expectations. But, she's well attuned to the skill of reading the room and is generally swift to recognize and reconcile. She values the power of growing and working together.

A gruff and jaded man who sees the world in black and white. He also has a penchant for telling those who bother him to "Ge'roff my lawn." Dmitris has been through a lot and has seen much more, so there is little that will truly impress or move him. Originally a member of the military, he’s now been with the League for the past 15 years. He's not too invested in the emotions of others–keenly aware of how quickly they can slip away–or even his own/ But like all stones, he has another side. 

Despite his bark, Dmitris is humble and down to earth in a way that many people no longer are. He doesn't see the need for pompousness and ego-centrism, preferring a simpler world where everyone minds their own business. Live and let live. He also trusts only what he knows and is not easily shaken from his values. And these pieces of knowledge are something he's willing to impart on the younger generation if they have the kindness to listen. He quietly wishes that someone had done that for him in the past.

Ru is, quite honestly, adorable. A true ambivert, they're someone who enjoys getting to know new people, but also knows the importance of taking time to recharge. They deal with social anxiety a lot of the time, which can make the former more difficult to manage. Ru is a sensitive person, especially to the needs of others, and is one to generally be found assisting from behind the curtain in their own quiet way. One thing they desperately wish for, though, is to find the confidence to step into the light and take charge of their own story. There's a power in there that they've not yet realized they have. 

Ru grew up as the child of helicopter parents who orchestrated their whole life and babied them a bit. They were stifled and never had the chance to find themself, learn about the world, or become very confident. Ru trained for the League because it was a prestigious job that their parents wanted for them, not because they want to be there. They find it to be a bit brutal, honestly, and would rather be a kindergarten teacher...they think...

They have epilepsy and use a service pokemon to assist with this. Species TBA.
