Has a ridiculous sweet tooth, always has snacks on hand when out and about. Won’t hesitate to share said snacks with others around him.

Ever since losing to you during the champion challenge, he’s a lot less on edge. His words are gentler, his tone matching like he used to be.

Doesn’t take as much obvious teasing meekly like he used to, stands up for himself more now but not to where he’s a total wet noodle about it.

Actually enjoys wearing his hair up more often, even wears the hair clips that you bought for him without complaint. Thinks they look nice.

Will let you brush his hair when it’s just the two of you, his intersections bangs ever the prevalent when down. He’s totally okay with you trying different hairstyles on him, and doesn’t complain. Likes to see you having fun with it.

Ogerpon comes out of her ball when he’s around almost on queue. You can feel her pokeball shake on your waist when he announces his arrival.

She’ll greet him with a happy chirp and this makes Kieran so ridiculously happy for something this simple.

Shy with physical affection but he’s slowly getting used to it as best he can, albeit through very reddened cheeks.

He really likes linking pinkies with you when you’re walking together. And will grasp your hand when it’s crowded so you don’t get lost or swept away in the sea of people.

When in Kitakami he loves gathering syrupy apples with you that you take back to his grandparents house to make different apple treats, more often than not it’s candied apples that you share.

Doesn’t mind when you lean against him when you’re tired, will stand perfectly still so that you sleep soundly. He’ll quietly shush the people around being even the slightest bit of loud to be quiet.

Likes to spend time walking around town with you with your Pokémon by your side, likes it being just him and his Pokémon and you.

He really really hates when you have to go back to school in Paldea, the two of you have video calls, and message each other regularly. But he really takes it hard on the few days that follow your departure. On days like these he’s usually more withdrawn and moody, and will message you more often.

When you visit he’s so excited! He will be at the seaplane stop earlier that needed, pacing with his Furret following him with audible squeaks.

Hugs you as soon as you get off the seaplane and carries your luggage for you as the two of you walk to your dorm, and you’ll spend the rest of the day there.

Despite how awkward this former gym leader can be, he really does like to cuddle and be close to his significant other.

He's pretty boney and has cold fingers and toes, so watch out. Your warmth at those places can get zapped away faster than a Dewgong using ice beam.

He's an absolute menace in the winter time, but come summer it's pleasant despite the heat.

And speaking of the former dreaded season, despite him being cold as ice, his gang of Zigzagoons, and his Obstagoon bring in enough heat to the cuddle pile.

There is no escape and you will be warm.

He hums often when he's content, you can sometimes pinpoint the specific tune to songs from his group, and other times is improv.

His hair is wild and the two of you have to go through a routine of making sure his hair is free of tangles, and conditioned to where it wont get that way.

He finds that part very relaxing.

He absolutely waits patiently for you to rake your fingertips across his scalp and give it a firm scratch, it makes his eyelids droop so easily it's almost embarrassing.

He likes to sleep in and while tangle himself with his limbs to keep you from leaving the soft, warm bed the two of you share. Complaining how gross it was outside and how comfy it was right here and why you should stay.

Sometimes it works too well, much to your chagrin.

He switches the positions when cuddling, but he defaults to the little spoon. His hair makes a very nice pillow.

Arven

He’s no stranger to the baking aspect of cooking, it being a nice change of pace for special celebrations or a late night sweet tooth. So he too enjoys baking for you.

Though since the two of you have been dating, he’s kinda shy-ed away from baking since he noticed you enjoyed doing so for others and more eagerly, for himself.

He gives you honest critiques on your sweet treats when you ask him, and even offers to bake with you when you can’t seem to get a certain recipe to come together quite right.

His favorite things that you bake are usually your sweets such as chocolate mousse cake, or the cheesecakes of any flavor.

Mabosstiff's favorite are your Pokemon friendly oatmeal cookies in the shape of himself. He usually bites the heads off first.

The two of you are absolute units when it comes to holidays like Christmas or Valentines Day. This past holiday the two of you baked up a storm the days leading up to it, and the faculty, Nemona, and Penny were all very much appreciative, and ate every last crumb!

Nemona

This girl, she never really stays still for long. But you have discovered the offer of baked items makes her stay put at least for a little while.

She's usually looking over your shoulder when you're using your decorating things like cupcakes and cookies and more often than not a single finger is slowly wiggling it's way to the edge of the bowl to swipe a dollop greedily.

She's honestly a bottomless pit too, all that exercise and battling that she does can work up quite the hunger. So you make sure to have her favorite items like cookies, and malasadas since they're easier for her to carry and take off with like a Greedent.

She doesn't really know a lot about baking, more so used to the cooking aspect, but she will try her best! You need an ingredient you forgot? She's on it. Getting tired from stirring? That butter is as good as fluffy.

Taste tester? She volunteers without hesitation. She will try anything that you make with a smile on her freckled face with glee.

Her Pawmot really love the Apricorn fritters that you make! And just like his trainer, he eats A LOT.

Penny

Penny may not say it out loud, but she ADORES sweets. Her favorites that you make are the simpler items like chocolate chip cookies or puddings of any flavor.

She works a stressful job at the Pokemon League, so when you come by with a container of freshly baked chocolate cookies?

She feels like she could marry you on the spot and weep tears of joy at the act of love from you.

Will offer suggestions on what to bake when you're at a loss at what to make. She has a bunch of food creators that she's followed on Pokegram just for that.

Her eeveelutions favorites are usually anything the same color as them oddly enough. Blue birthday cake icecream sandwiches for your Glaceon, Strawberry shortcakes for Flareon, Blueberry Pies for Vaporeon, Lemon Curd Cupcakes for Jolteon, Elderberry Cobbler for Umbreon, Ube Rolls for Espeon, Mint Chocolate Cakes for Leafeon, and Raspberry Tarts for Sylveon.

After a couple other times of missing the keyhole, the person on the other side let out a frustrated grunt and sigh, seemingly in defeat.

You rose to your feet and patted against the hardwood floors, recognizing the all to familiar voice. Flipping the lock to the other side, you open the door gently outwards, careful not to whack the person on the other side.

That said person looked up at you through full moon shaped frames. Their hair a disheveled mess that looked as if it had been straightened countless times that day and continued to fall into the previous disarray. Her onyx colored orbs seemed dull with heavy set eyebags sitting underneath them as they met with your own.

You gave her a concerned look, your eyebrows knitting together before scanning her very tired face and exhausted body posture. She looked like she had a very rough day. Expressionless saved for that.

You opened the door and stepped to the side to let her in silently before closing the door behind her, making sure to lock it.

The crimson and cerulean haired girl dropped her arms, allowing her ever characteristic Eevee backpack to thud against the floor of your doorway. She says not a word as she shuffles out of her boots, the pair anything but neatly side by side.

The silence wasn't awkward for you as much as it was worrying. She would have lease offered you a smile or hum in reply when she came home for the night after her work at the league.

"Rough day?"

Her previously expressionless face remained like that for a moment until you could see how her face scrunched up while her eyes began filling with tears.

You felt your chest tighten and you held out your arms for her, an invitation.

One she immediately accepted with a sob. Wrapping her thin arms around your frame as tightly as she could manage before smooshing her cheek against your chest as the tears sloped down her face.

You held her as she cried, mumbling quiet "it's okay" and "I'm here." to her as she blubbered countless apologies and frustrations.

"I don't understand! Nothing I did went right today!" She lamented, gripping at your jacket where they were holding herself close to you. "Every code I wrote had something wrong with it, and when I couldn't figure out what it was, I was handed more work to do when I haven't even finished the last task they gave me to do." She sniffled, wiping her face against her hand. "I don't know why nothing went right today."

It's true, the Pokemon League had been running her ragged these past couple days. Every since she graduated from the Academy she was full time employed for the league for head in cyber security and even helped with IT. The league was having some security issues as of late, and management wanted it intercepted and stopped as soon as possible. So that meant that Penny had to be the main employee to deal with this issue and make sure things were looked over and fixed.

Not all days at work were like this, sure she was tired most days, but she always had something good to say. Coming home with a beam on her face with one of her Eeveelutions following her as everyone ate together and discussed their day.

Today... was a bad day.

You carefully removed her work lanyard from around her neck and placed that and her glasses on the countertop beside the two of you. "That sounds stressful, I can only imagine how much that messed with you today." you replied in a calm tone, loosening your grip a little to slowly sway you and herself side to side rhythmically.

You felt her sway with you, her sobs slowly but surely calming down.

"Today is over, sweetheart." You added, giving her a small kiss on the crown of her head, continuing to sway. "All you have to worry about is which pajamas you want to wear when I order takeout from your favorite place tonight."

She looked up at you interested. "You mean it?" Her eyes shining in a more happier kind of way. "The one with the Galar styled curry?"

You beamed at her, tucking a few strands of hair behind her ear. "With the Slowpoke tail, yes. That very one."

She let out a happy sigh, leaning her face against your hand. "I love you."

The smell of wet dirt and the sound of pattering rain could be both smelled and heard from the inside of your shared tent.

You stirred from your place on top of your sleeping back next to Arvens'. Your eyelids blinked slowly before you yawned slowly and fully, the unexpected nap now apparent.

“So you finally awake?” a familiar voice commented in a low voice from next to you.

You already felt the smile forming on your lips as you peered up at him.

The dim light of the battery powered camping light in the corner of the tent illuminated Arven’s form in its soft canary glow. His already soft facial expression towards you seemed even softer when bathed in the soft light, his blue-grey eyes shining.

You shimmied yourself a little from on top of your own sleeping bag and laid your head on his outstretched arm that had been placed protectively above you as you slept. With another yawn, shorter and less full this time, you replied. “Yeah… didn’t mean to fall asleep on you, I’m sorry.”

He gave a low chuckle, more bass than anything else, the vibrations sending a warm feeling to your cheeks.

“You don’t have to apologize for that, you’ve had a long day today trying to fill up your pokedex. Then you had a pretty good dinner made by yours truly, with all that and the rain. I’m surprised you even woke up after a couple of hours.” He stated, bringing the hand of the arm you were using as your pillow to play with your hair gingerly.

Arven brought his other hand up to your cheek to run the backside of his fingers against your cheeks, admiring the warmth that it emitted to his digits.

You hummed at this softly, and took it upon yourself to wrap your arms around his torso and pull yourself flush against his chest with a soft exhale.

“Mmmhmm, and I don’t plan on moving until morning, so you’d better get comfy, Ven.”

A smile instantly formed on the man’s lips, the giddy feeling threatening to spill from his mouth. He couldn’t get over how wanted that you made him feel. It was one of the things that he loved about you was just how clear you made it to him that you wanted him just as much as he in turn wanted you.
