“At least I’m not the only one,” Carina hummed under her breath as she flagged down the waiter to order lunch like she wanted to before Eve had graced her with her presence. “Well, what are  you into- like what do you do as a hobby?” Carina asked, finishing her order and waiting to see if Eve would get anything.

“Hobbies..” She trailed off opening the menu while also thinking about a hobby she could actually admit to. Murder wasn’t one of those, that was for sure. “Fashion. Is that even a hobby?” She shrugged ordering a plate of food. “What about you? What do you like to do in your spare time?”

“Eve,” Carina reiterated with a small smile of her own, swirling her current drink before taking a quick sip. “Pleasures all mine” Putting her glass down, she couldn’t help but give the other girl a cursory once over. “I’m sort’a new here, so, this is probably not a conventional way of meetin’ people but.” She lifted a  shoulder apathetically.

Eve nodded in understanding. “Trust me, I don’t make a habit of doing this.” Of course, that was a lie. “But I’m sorta new. I’ve only been here a few months and I haven’t really met a lot of people.” At least none that stuck around to long. “So lucky me.” She smiled sipping on her drink as she allowed her eyes to hover on the brunette before shifting them away.
