2016

2016 is what I call my lost year. Spending more than 6 months bed bound recovering from leg surgery, I watched all my friends graduate , get jobs and advance in their lives. Despite that I guess I tried to make the most of the year, the good and bad. Various things happened. I spent time and went to A&E numerous times for cardiac related issues, physio and leg rehab appointments. My alopecia came back and I lost the majority of my hair. I found out I needed glasses. I finally graduated with a distinction in my masters. I travelled to Dubai , Rome and New York. Slowly progressing from wheelchair, crutch and hobbling along globally. I learnt how to walk again. I took up Japanese properly. Passed my driving test. Started an internship. Went up the world's tallest tower. And much more. So even if 2016 is my lost year, I achieved quite a bit. And I hope 2017 has much more to offer, new people and opportunities. Most of all, I guess this post also marks my 10 years of being on tumblr.
