Stop spreading misinformation about the Taeil case. The information about the 12yo girl is not confirmed. Spreading misinformation about this case can do irreparable harm to the victim. If these heinous accusations are proven false and it is a different victim in a different situation, it might look "less harmful" than those accusations and people will take the victim less seriously.

Yes, he did absolutely commit a crime, something so horrible he was immediately removed from his SM Ent. group without any warning to the public. But this does not mean you can make up whatever rumors you want about him. Confirmed sources, like SM itself or police reports verified by reporters (even though they are not the most reliable), are the ONLY sources you should be listening to. Everything else should he taken with a grain of salt.

I don't care if he's a terrible person. I don't care about all the posts saying "He did exactly what you think he did". Spreading misinformation hurts the victim. If this story going around is false, then it is hurting the victim, due to focusing on a different story rather than the real one.

There is a very big problem of people exaggerating stories so much that when the actual truth is revealed, it looks watered down or not as bad. This is incredibly harmful, as people will say "oh its not that bad" to victims because it's a "lesser" crime. As a survivor myself of CSA, this hurts us more than you think. Because my story is not an "extreme" case, for years I believed it wasn't worth getting help for or believing I had trauma from it (aside from the fact that my brain blocked out any memories of it for years). Now my abuser, because I believed and was all but told it wasn't as extreme of a case, is sitting scot-free in his house in another city. Nobody ever told me that what I had experienced was bad enough, so now I will never get closure due to it not being extreme enough.

Jumping to extremes makes it so that an actual victim's story is "watered down" and "not that bad" is so harmful and keeps us from getting justice and closure and healing, if we even can.

So. What if it isn't a minor he's molested, blackmailed, and stalked for 6 years whose mother he didn't put into the hospital or threaten to kill? What if it is an adult woman he abused and committed crimes against? Her story isn't as extreme. It's not the most disgusting thing you've ever heard. It's something you hear about often. Are you still going to believe her? Are you still going to take her case seriously? Will you still consider him a monster for a sexual crime if it isn't a poor, innocent, young child he hurt? Maybe you yourself will, but will others?
