almighty
* i dreamed the dream of a hungry man; and awoke to a belly yet full, a cupboard unbarren and varied
i dreamed the dream of a thirsty man; and awoke to the trickle of a stream out back, a patter of rain against my sill
i dreamed the dream of an angry man; and awoke to a rage abated, a visage needing but a nudge into a grin
i dreamed the dream of a hopeless man; and awoke in a state of grace, suffused forgiveness in my heart and light
i dreamed the dream of a crazy man; and awaken and kneel to the benevolent, almighty, exalted sir tiddlywump III, who keeps me safe from harm while i sleep
& sane, too. * 8/14 - 11/25 - lebuc -Â almighty
I guess this is what they feel like...the hopeless romantics.
Bones are screaming proof of age
Though your teenage grin proves it fake
But I know adulting and it's hitting hard
Passing journeys once embarked
Whispering chants of memento mori
Cacophony of which resonate in lungs
AH! Perhaps this is what's making that sound
The one exactly similar to adults
So have you closed that drawer of past
Or are you struggling like me?
A peep at old gifts from closed chapters makes you meek
Disappointing glares of Gables Green
Too fast for our breaths, too much these grasses have held.
Too wise for all these book, too tall for every shelf.
Wardrobe from Narnia shuts at your face
Alice wonders who's big for this rabbit hole
Perhaps it's time to get rid of these shoes
And wear the size that'll finally fit you
Check aisle 26 or 23 or anything above 20
They are all similar anyway
Too old for young death, too young for jagged breath.
Too big for all this world, too small for every grave.

The ghost who bakes lemon cookies
Someone stands in the kitchen, a tray of twelve unbaked cookies before her. The air hums with lemon, sugar, and butter—a scent like her grandma’s kitchen, though no one stirs beside her now. She works alone. This recipe is hers to ruin, to alter, to claw back from failure again and again. Safe in this: no matter how they emerge—lopsided, burnt, brittle as bone—she’ll be the only tongue to judge them.
Last week’s batch hardened into bricks. She’d forgotten them in the oven, lost in the fractured space her mind occupied. Her failures catalog themselves: a ledger etched where no one reads.
The oven light flickers as she reaches inside—not a malfunction, but a recognition. Tray slid in, timer set: twenty minutes, no more, no less. Then, the ritual’s quiet sacrament: the bowl’s leftover dough, clinging to the spoon. She licks it clean. For a moment, the dead taste life.
Today, the cookies rise perfect. Golden. Unbroken.
This terrifies her.
What happened in those twenty minutes? The recipe shouldn’t yield perfection—not for hands like hers. If the lemon cookies are flawless, what excuse remains for the pages that bleed vitriol at midnight? If this works, is she done?
She leaves them on the counter overnight, praying dawn will warp them—let the cold stale their edges, let flies speckle their tops. Let them be ruined, so she may begin again.
She wants to love them. Wants to love anything the way her presence once did.
She knows she can’t.
This is how the dead practice living:
one part butter,
two parts longing,
a pinch of salt
stolen from a wound
that scabbed over
years ago.
2.7 grams—
the weight of a decision
unmade.
My whole personality is based on this one book I started in 2021. Flawed, wicked and suspicious

Judy Poovey was one funny character
It was just joke...
This is devastatingly painful

My personality is in antithesis with my aesthetics. One has to go.
'To be loved is to be seen' but I have only seen people being truly loved after their deaths
"It’s when love becomes difficult that it truly begins to exist."
- Faustin Bouchard and Lucie Demers, Soulmate: The Happiness of Being Truly Loved
people will look at classic dystopian sci-fi like "wow how did the author predict this would happen" and the answer is they didn't. they hoped and hoped this wouldn't happen. (some of them, the lucky few perhaps, even died believing the worst had been averted.) these writers took a look at terrible things happening around them, and imagined a future where these terrible things dominated and warped reality, and they held it up to the audience and said "see? does this future not appall you??? it has already begun."
dystopian fiction isn't a prediction. it is a warning and a PLEA

I don't care I will cherish anyone who talks for long hours about cosmos in both a scientifically and poetically. Yes tell me about how the universe came into being from a single particle/dot and all that energy and then tell me how it is so metaphorical and unbelievable but we all believe scientists and poets
Some days, I am not myself, and on those very days, I wonder deeply about myself. I think about my favourite colour, my favourite memory, my favourite player, my favourite game, my favourite genre, my favourite book and my favourite movie. I end up with no answer. Some days I am a different character (a speck of my favourite one), some days another character (this again my favourite). We become our favourite characters because we like ourselves. We like ourselves. Therefore, we turn ourselves into what we like.
We don't make the people we dislike wear the clothes WE LOVE. So it's okay to wonder about yourself a little more while you are your favourite character. We are no different. We like them because they are a little like us. I see a little of myself in Hermione Granger and a little in Neville Longbottom.
