No Rest At The Kingdom

We all have healing to do. It gets more and more personal every time that we go within to do so. It’s like we water our wounds with our own tears but the salt burns and it feels like the cycle begins all over again. And we don’t want to repeat any lessons that we thought we had learned earlier. A bleeding heart makes it’s way out to be seen and we become ashamed of it. I know I am. Asking for validation. Longing for closure. But at the end of the day none of these things really matter if we’re not making space for the work. I’ve made space for all the nasty things I’ve done or embodied, now why can’t I do the same for the healing process? It’s hard to do good . It’s easy to stay angry. But instead of pushing away the goodness, why don’t we be patient with it? Accept it with worthiness and understanding. Not judgement and and a notion that your goodness is worth betting on. This healing shit is no fluid current as it comes in waves. Waves that will push you over the edge just to make sure you knew how to swim in the first place. Whether or not we are prepared for the consequences, something always pushes us forward to better understanding. To let go of resentment means a detox for your soul and self as you try to rejuvenate your spirit. Keep a close eye on those who show you affection, and understand that it’s not the codependent values or even the satisfaction that will validate you. To internalize your grievances is the fastest way to sicken the soul.
