These blogs are spamming the Syscourse tag with on reality. If you or someone you know is sensitive to this and checks this tag regularly click on the account I listed and block them immediately. Do not read what’s on them just block them. I have taken the liberty of reporting all three of these accounts and I will continue to report new ones that come up . Most kids don't want to be coddled or babied past a certain age. You especially aren't supposed to coddle or try to baby a child you don't know regardless of age.

Kids around the age of 8 beginning to explore their identity is also normal. Same with kids beginning to take on more responsibility. Taxes and the like aren't that complicated of a concept for kids to grasp, physical kids just don't need to engage with it. We were learning how to do budgeting in kid cities in 3rd grade.

I think it's also extremely invalidating and really medicalist to have entire movements within the plural community now dedicated to trying to claim system kids aren't real kids and developing an increasingly narrow definition of what kids are "supposed to be".

We can't say "please treat our littles like children" because people take that to mean uncomfortably baby them or push their boundaries, but the alternative is people treating them like adults with a child archetype.
