Good Fellows Restuarant in Wells, Somerset 5.6/10

It’s my first time experiencing this fish-restaurant located in a small town in Somerset called Wells.
I started with chilled gazpacho soup with king prawn and pesto (basically, a cold soup)
The second course I picked up Fillet of sea bass with grilled Mediterranean vegs, Dukkah spices (or just call this is a sea bass grilled with vegs )
Menu: It’s a fixed menu, not a lot of choices to pick. Also, the layout design of the menu was terrible. I was disappointed.
Food: The food was delicious, the dish decoration was wonderful. However, if I compared to the top-end restaurant I have been, I do expect Goodfellows to done better than this.
Service: Well, it’s ok but not to Phannin standard.
Overall: It’s a great restaurant in Wells and not that bad. For 2 Courses cost £22 / 3 Courses £26, fixed menu. We spent around £123 (included service charge, we added) for 4 people and 1 bottle of white wine approx £30 per person.
เป็นครั้งแรกที่มาทานอาหารร้านนี้ ซึ่งได้รับคำแนะนำมาจากเจ้าของที่พัก ร้านอาหารนี้ตั้งอยู่ที่ Wells ใน Somerset Wells เป็นเมืองที่เล็กที่สุดในเกาะอังกฤษ ใกล้ Bath และ Glastonbury.
นินเริ่มต้นด้วย chilled gazpacho soup คือซุปเย็น หลังจากนั้น main course ตามด้วย ปลากระพงขาวย่าง กับมันฝรั่งบด แล้วก็ ผักย่าง สไตส์ Mediterranean
เริ่มต้นกันด้วยเมนูอาหาร : อย่างแรกที่หงุดหงิดมามากคือการจัดการ layout ของเมนู ทุกอย่างติด ใกล้ชิดกันไปหมด ขนาดตัวหนังสือก็เกือบเท่าๆกัน บวกอีกอย่างเมนูมีตัวเลือกน้อยมากมากเลยค่ะ คำแนะนำคือจัดวาง layout ใหม่ แยกเป็นสัดส่วนดีๆ
รสชาติ อาหาร: ส่วนตัวแล้วเป็นคนกินง่าย กินอะไรก็อร่อย อาหารของทางร้าน Goodfellows ไม่ได้แย่เลย รสชาติดีมากมาก การตกแต่งจานก็ดีพอสมควร ไม่อยากจะบ่นไรมาก แต่ในใจก็แอบเอามาเปรียบเทียบกับร้านอาหาร ราคาคล้ายๆกันที่เคยไป ซึ่งเราคิดว่า Goodfellows น่าจะทำได้ดีกว่านี้
การบริการ : โอเคในระดับนึง แต่ก็ไม่ดีเท่ากับมาตราฐานของเรา (5555 ความเรื่องมากก็มา)
สรุป : Goodfellows ถือว่าเป็นร้านที่ดีร้านนึงใน Wells ค่ะ ส่วนตัวให้คะแนน 5.6/10 (5 นี่ให้รสชาติอาหารทั้งนั้น ส่วน 0.6 คือส่วนอื่นๆรวมกัน)
