personally i hate talking about this situation but it needs to be said.

since i am still updating parts of my MBAV works, i need to preface my AU by saying this: mage!benny in my works is DIFFERENT than mbav!benny.

my work is AN ALTERNATE UNIVERSE. my version of benny is not written as a misogynistic piece of shit, because i didn't write him in the early 2010s when that trope wasn't frowned upon. every character within my work is a different character than the ones you see on screen.

the entire reason for creating MAGE & AWAKEN was to complete a show that i loved and fix it in ways that could be more enjoyable for not just me, but for others who love the show as well. i fixed plot holes and toxic tropes by tweaking each character individually (especially in the third season of the AU).

so, do not compare mage!benny to mbav!benny. they are separate characters who have nothing to do with the toxicity that his actor created nor with the 2010s sexist humour.
