The first thing is activity, and we do not blame our members for this; we know that real life gets in the way, and it’s just unfortunate that everyone is so busy, myself and Ana included. As of right now, almost half of our characters are on hiatus, so the dash is sluggish. While we know that we have very dedicated members who would no doubt come back after their hiatuses, it’s just a matter of things not moving fast enough, so the people who actually are here don’t have enough people to interact with.

The second reason is that with the school year coming up for a lot of us, we understand that most people’s activity will drop dramatically, which would be horrible considering how low we already are. And I know that on top of that, some people have jobs—I, for example, work part time as well as go to university, and I also need to sleep and have a social life. I just simply don’t have a lot of time to come online at the moment, and I know that this is also the case for a lot of other roleplayers.

Being an admin is incredibly hard work and while Ana and I are absolutely in love with this roleplay and everyone in it (characters AND members), it’s just not feasible that we are able to continue it. Because of member activity and our own personal engagements, it’s just best if we let it rest for a while. This doesn’t mean, though, that we will be gone forever! Ana and I have already discussed that we would both love to revamp and reopen plushq sometime in the future when we are both available and the timing is right.

This roleplay was my tiny idea that blossomed into reality, and I am so pleased with the results. After being open for two full months, I can say with confidence that I am proud of what we’ve all created and I honestly never thought we would even get this far. We only have you guys and the RP community to thank! Thank you to our lovely members, and if (when?) we reopen, we hope to see some familiar faces back here!

i’m not exactly sure what you mean, but i’ll try to answer the best i can. people come into this rp at different stages with their character dev; some are just ideas, some are fully formed people with full backstories and personalities. some people already know everything about their character and some are learning as they go ! this rp encourages character development, and building relationships, and i can guarantee there’s a lot of that here ! i hope this helped, anon !

hey there anon ! you don’t have to worry about being left behind; though it’s a large group, the dash isn’t constantly being refreshed to stay on top of things, it moves at a very readable pace and you shouldn’t have to worry about catching up. i read every post on the dash and i have no issue with it ! we would love to have you join !

i know that it might seem like we’re slow at times, but the big thing to remember is that we have a lot of dedicated members. not everyone can be online all the time, as real life gets in the way, but our lovely members always come back and try to get online whenever they can. that is what makes me so confident in this roleplay. even if replies don’t come right away, they will come eventually. it’s our dedicated members that have kept us going for two months, and i’ll be very happy if it’s them that help us continue for more months to come !
