it’s something deku does often because of his career, so you never run short of the somewhat indecent noises he emits. every time he feels the tension of his muscle or the popping of a joint, his groans are all the more delightful—music to your ears. seeing the crease between his brow disappear and hearing the breath of relief that follows is the icing on top of the cake. he’s noticed how your lips part at the involuntary grunts that come along with his stretches, so the first thing he does in the morning when you both wake up is toss the comforter to the side so he can stand up and reach his arms into the air, all so you can listen to him.

some people tap their foot, others bounce their leg—izuku bites his lip. it’s an unconscious habit that he can go a while without realizing that he’s doing it. but his lack of awareness means the action is raw, which makes it even more attractive. his pearly white incisors pressing into the soft skin of his lips as he jots down who knows what in his notebook is sure to draw your attention. it always ends with him running his tongue over his lip to soothe the abuse his teeth caused; his pink, plump lips left coated with a slight sheen. on most occasions, he doesn’t pick up on the mannerism until he catches you staring.
