I HAVE NO TIME FOR THINGS
so here is art you may have or may have not seen but probably have cuz most are upwards of over a year old
i use portable sai but im pretty sure the same settings apply to normal sai painter.Â
i MOSTLY use vector layers for lineart, using curve for longer lines then the pen for free hand.
free handing lines can be hard but it helps a little if you sorta drag your arm along your tablet instead of using your wrist. if your hand hurts, try wrapping your style up in a sock or something to make it thicker - it will help with grip and help with making longer, smoother lines.
robin mentioned missing my opossum character, Iago. so here's a bunch of old art of her as i have not drawn her in.. forever.

dog anatomy
here's a little thing of your run of the mill generic dog. one day i will like to go further with this since dogs come in so many different shapes and sizes but im not sure what type of specific 'canine' anatomy you are looking for since that could include domestic dogs, wolves and foxes. personally i believe that if you want to draw canines more accurately, look at photos. there is tons of stock images for canines on deviantart if you look. i used to not like using photo references myself, but i learned that its the next best thing besides having a dog right next to do you to draw from.
and here's some photos that make good references.
SIGHTHOUNDS are up first. these are salukis.
- greyhound
- whippet
 - borzoiÂ
what they all have in common is that these dogs are runners. they are fast and tend to have a high prey drive. Â with long flexible backs, long legs for easy strides, deep chests to compensate for large hearts, and excellent lung capacity they excel in agility and speed. if you are looking to make a fast canine character or a fast species of your own, keep this anatomy in mind.Â
MOLOSSER / MASTIFFS
 - cane corso
- english mastiff
- Â neapolitan mastiff
- rottweiler
- great dane
  - american bulldog
these dogs are typically very large. they have heavily boned, typically have a short but muscled neck and shorter muzzles. more often than not they are used as guard dogs.Â
i've also included some german shepherds here, as their anatomy is typically a lot different due to the sloped backs. from what i understand though that this is not as common in european bred shepherds.

 Ocellated Turkey (Meleagris ocellata)
âŚ.the only other species of extant turkey alive today (Australian brush turkeys are not âtrueâ turkeys or closely related). Ocellated turkeys occur in the Yucatan Peninsula in Mexico and parts of Belize and Guatemala. They typically inhabit tropical deciduous and lowland evergreen forests, they are also found in seasonally flooded habitat and open areas, especially during the breeding season. During the breeding season (in spring), ocellated turkeys are often seen in clearings where males will gobble and strut to attract females. Breeding will take place from late March to mid-April and around 12 eggs are typically laid.
Like their North American cousins M. ocellata are generalists and will eat a wide variety of plant materials, insects, nuts, berries and seeds. However, chicks will feed solely on insects for their fist month. Ocellated turkeys are similar in appearance to M. gallopavo but they differ in that they have a striking iridescent green color and they lack the âbeardâ found in wild turkeys. They are also significant smaller than their northern cousins. True to their common name their tail feathers possess ocelli (eyespots) like those found on peafowl.
Currently Meleagris ocellata is listed as Near Threatened and faces threats due to hunting and habitat destruction.Â
