sabrina did her fair share of dating through high school,   but she’s never really been In Love.   she’s loved people,   in like a way where she cares about them and gets a little obsessive over the idea of being with them,   but for the most part,   i think regardless of how love-y dove-y she may have presented with anyone she’s been with,   she’s never really connected on a deep enough level with someone to feel fully in love with them.   and like maybe she does blame that on elmridge stock but it’s a bit of a her problem too.   she hasn’t dated in new york yet,   nothing more than one off tinder flings when she’s at her lowest and needs the validation,   but she’s pretty sure when she does,   it’ll be a whole new game.

BIANCA: What do you want most in life?

the most basic answer would be to make it on broadway.   it’s the thing her entire life has been leading to.   she doesn’t have a backup plan,   even if her own father is a testament to why you should,   and what she wants more than anything is to just get there and have it be done that she’s one of the ones who made it.   but on a deeper level,   i think what she wants more is to finally feel like full and completed.   because her whole life has been oriented around this singular goal,   she sees achieving it as the one thing that would solve all her problems.   if she makes it on broadway,   her parents will be proud,   she’ll know she made all the right choices,   she’ll be getting consistent attention for the thing she’s worked so hard for,   she’ll be busy enough with work that any loneliness will be less glaring,   but even then,   she’ll get to meet new people through work and face them with confidence being validated by her casting.   she wants to make it on broadway more than anything because it’s the only way she can see her life going where everything else falls into place.

most of sabrina’s regrets are tied to her life in new york.   she wishes she had tried harder to connect with people her freshman year.   she wishes she hadn’t gotten intimidated,   and let herself fall to the sidelines.   she wishes she had kept the energy that had made her such a big fish in elmridge and pushed it upon everyone she encountered at nyu,   and made more friends,   and had more quintessential college moments.   she didn’t realize that by manipulating her way through big events in high school,   she was robbing herself of knowing how to recognize and appreciate the little things beyond graduation.

as one would imagine,   sabrina was one of those girls who was evil to her barbies.   frankly,   if acting doesn’t work out for her,   ol’ gal simply has a future in a soap opera writing room,   because the lengths she would go to for continuity in dramatic story telling were impressive.   she just somehow excelled at keeping track of which dolls were which’s secret lovers and which dolls had betrayed the others.   probably a dark secret unbeknownst to those who weren’t in her full on inner circle was how this sort of dramatic doll playing bled into middle school a little,   as she still had a penchant for it in sixth grade.   she’d be lying if she said she didn’t think of adapting some of her barbie stories into one shot plays.

sabrina’s generally in pretty good health,   but she’s prone to fits of hypochondria whenever she’s particularly nervous about something.   before every major audition she’s ever had,   she spends the week before complaining to everyone she knows about how she’s for sure coming down with something,   before all the ap tests she ever took she was nearly positive she wouldn’t be able to go to school because she was just that ill.   she really doesn’t get sick much,   but she always resorts to piling that on to any major stressors in her life.

while there was like a very brief period at the end of elementary school and into middle school that she kinda levelled out,  lil sabrina was just as bad a tyrant as she is now.   sure,  it manifested in different ways:   she was very bossy about the rules playing house on the playground and whenever she got the girls at a sleepover to agree to putting on a cheetah girls concert with her,   she was ALWAYS galleria or bust.   she got in trouble for it a little and it’s part of why her parents were so surprised by when she was invited to be apart of the gifted class.   but i mean you gotta be an awful smart second grader to get your way that much among other second graders.
