Living La Vida Loca

Hi, everybody!  I’m the one who posted this, uh… rant back in November.  At the time, along with shaving my legs, under-arms, upper lip, and bikini area, I was also shaving my arms and hands, and plucking my “treasure trail.”  I have successfully grown back the “treasure trail,” and I’ll post a photo of my arms when they’re fully grown back.  This is all-new territory for me—I was a little surprised when I realized that, even during the periods of time that I let my arm hair grow, I had not allowed the hair on the backs of my hands and fingers to grow since middle school.  It’s still a little weird to sit there and see the hair on my fingers, but I don’t feel like starting all over again… so they’ll stay!  And while I’m still a little insecure about the “treasure trail,” I plan to buy my first-ever bikini this summer.  What should I care what my fellow beach- or pool-goers think?  It’s my body, and I’m going to be sexy, and they’re just going to have to deal with their own insecurities about my body!
