sometimes you gotta know when to stop hoping, let go and move on. if you just keep waiting, how much time have you wasted by just waiting when you could’ve been together? if you can’t go through ups and downs together, it won’t work and it never will. and sometimes, most times, things have to fall apart to make way for better ones, you just can’t reason with it, you can’t keep thinking about it and you just have to keep moving forward. it’s true, relationships happen because of destiny or fate but they have both done their job by putting two people together, what you do with each other and how you work things out determines whether you’re right for each other or not, you have to be consistent and honest. you can’t keep hoping on the fact that if you two are meant to be together, you’ll find your way back to each other, fuck no. it’s constant work, it’s no time off. you work on each other and you be there for each other. you’re part of a team and you have to have each others back. i just think that relationships nowadays are so messed up, you can’t keep thinking about it as if its a movie, its not goddamnit. being in a relationship is being there for each other, it’s literal hard work. you gotta trust, you gotta grow with each other, know each other. but the most important part is, you have to both know and understand you are both part of a team and it’ll never work if you keep doing the opposite. you can’t keep running away everytime you have a problem, you have to work it out with each other, talk it out, whatever. because at the end of the day, it’s your choice whether your relationship works out or not. not fate, not destiny. it’s you and only you.
