There will be ONE prize: One custom quilt made by me for you! I’ll give you the fabric options; you’ll select the one you like, as well as over all design and I’ll make a quilt just for you!  Awesome right?

To enter you are allowed ONE REBLOG and ONE LIKE per day. Each note gets you one entry and I’ll use a random number generator to pick the winner. (I’m not responsible for any tumblr fuckary i.e. lost reblog’s or likes.)

You do not have to follow me to enter- however, when I select your name, if I see that you’re following me, you’ll get several more options in fabric and design of the quilt.

Scotty was such a fucking badass when Kirk put him in charge.

In A Taste of Armageddon, a mealy-mouthed diplomat orders Scotty to lower the ship’s shields so he can beam down, and Scotty refuses because he thinks the planet will blow them up as soon as they do. The diplomat has the authority to order it, and Scotty says “No sir, I will not.”

Now here’s a fun fact: While serving in the Canadian artillery during WW2, young Lieutenant James Doohan was ordered to conduct a training exercise. He realised if he did as he was told, he’d blow the heads of some of his own men. So he refused. The commander insisted. Lt. Doohan responded with “No sir, I will not.” He escaped court martial because the superiors realised the commander was an idiot and Doohan eventually got promoted.
