Extinction; or, where else on the internet you can find me
Hey all!
Thanks for still following Plasticozoic. I know I haven’t been very active on here for ages, other than random memes here and there, and there’s reasons for that.
Reason #1 is real life got in the way. I moved cities at the end of 2018 and spent a few months scrabbling to get on my feet. As it turns out, being unemployed and watching your savings trickle down does not help you maintain a blog. I’m doing way better now though, despite the general state of 2020.
Reason #2 is just that I’m not as into tumblr as I used to be. I only check it like once a day and reblog some stuff onto my main before I do something else.
And finally, reason #3 is that I’m not the only one who’s fallen off of tumblr lately, and since I started this to network with palaeo-people, there’s not much point to keeping this going.
But just because I’m not updating this blog anymore doesn’t mean you can’t follow my palaeo-shenanigans elsewhere!
You can follow my science twitter here. It’s mostly retweets of cool new discoveries and palaeoart, with a smattering of memes here and there.
Or if you’re more interested in visuals, I’m running an instagram account: @dinosaurs_of_melbourne This one’s a little more for fun, but I’m putting as much real science as I can into it as well.
Again, thank you for following Plasticozoic, and I hope to see you around the net soon. :)
