It was 2nd in the toc so that means one of the previous chapters was very well received! And nobimaru indeed appeared on every page.

And as I suspected Nobimaru had shown these almost yandere like tendencies obsessing over his mother lol. I guess everyone knows he's her son now, if they haven't realized it already, because he just proclaimed that his mother belongs to him only.

Overall how the ideal world works:

Kabane and Nobimaru consciousnesses are intertwined, so while Kabane is treated as an equal by his family in this world, Inari is obsessing over Nobimaru outright saying she doesn't need anyone but him, showing off his cram school achievements and also not having any friends at all. After all, Kabane still couldn't completely be free from his past...and Nobimaru has shown this side he never intended anyone to see.

The ideal world changes according to their thoughts, so they end up in school, having a picnic and going to a faraway place.

Nobimaru's past is pretty painful...I suspected that he was away from Inari all this time and that he changed his appearance because he failed or something. In reality, I don't think it even mattered... He did what his mother asked him to do, I guess him not being able to massacre everyone due to his lack of power is a failure, but also to me it seems like Inari was planning to just use him and throw him away as soon as possible regardless if he were able to successfully kill the Ishimori or not. He was an unwanted child after all.

And there's finally the confirmation that Nobimaru has a real name no one but Inari knows (and Haru? Or not even mentioned bc they're dead??).

Nobimarus revenge is to make Inari utter his real name, but Inari never ever remembered him haha.

Even though he wanted to be recognized, he still made his hair a different color so...he was afraid to ask questions and learn the truth (I think he knows the answer though). I'm cracking that he made himself blonde after seeing Inari take blonde Kon with her.

Now that we know he did meet kon back then and was slightly annoyed with her and very infuriated with Kabane wanting to find his parents, it's time to reread all their interactions. Even though he met Kon before, he had to create a new personality and meet her again (and Inari) and Kon didn't even remember...I wonder if next chapter she suddenly remembers there was another Kyoto messenger before Inari.

He lived with Ishimori for a few years. Did he really learn nothing from living with others including Haru? I wonder why the current Nobimaru was so sure that if he were to meet Kabane in some fantasy alternate reality where they would be the same age, he would have become a different person? Like Haru and Ishimori weren't enough huh. I bet he wouldn't have changed even if he could have met someone like Kabane earlier. I get what he's saying, Kabane's great and people who get involved with him change and have their problems resolved but feels like Nobimaru just wanted to run away.

So Nobimaru decides to make Inari dreams into reality and then snatch them away, until he, the unwanted child from back then, is the only thing she's left with.

Theres a talk where we see just how fucked Nobimaru is mentally but I'm too lazy to retell it haha. 20+ years of possessive obsession about mommy who maybe visited him twice and hugged him once.

Oh, the stage adaptation is confirmed to be up to Yui appearance and next month is a break. Aimoto mentioned working hard on color pages, and there should be at least 3 confirmed, one for the vol release, one in September for the stage adapatation and one in December for the anniversary.
