But not only do I think he's talking about Alex but also Ariel. While she is getting a lot of sympathy and support what she does now after this is going to be heavily judged and scrutinized once again in a way Ned will never know. No one realizes women are held to a higher standard where they have to make the right decision that's expected of them which leaves little room for mistakes. As a black woman I'm very familiar with this concept especially from misogynoir where we only can be seen as the strong black woman and if we're seen as anything but society will just judge you and turn you into the angry black woman. My point being misogyny is the main contributor of this mentality but when you add intersectionality to it consequences end up much more harsh which I'm pretty sure Alex is experiencing right now.

As a side comment: during the beginning of the allegations people went sure Ned did this but the employee should've known better or she, she, she. In an earlier try guys podcast they mentioned workplace affairs are cool and fun unless it involves a guy who is in power and a subordinate all while Ned was present.
