• radiation & the caves in New Mexico. i have been doing huge deep dives into chernobyl again, and what radiation does to people 🥲 literally rips you apart at a cellular level sooo crazy. i want a geiger counter tbh!! i live in near a somewhat desolate part of Nevada where they will be doing tests in the desert again, would love to go out and see what the effects are. it’s all being done underground but surely that would make the soil & wildlife sick no??? i need to look into it more but im so curious.

• metal detectors. i want one bad as hell, and i want to go rock hounding in needles, or the ghost towns that border Nevada & California.

• tornados in general & the joplin tornado in 2011… ok i have actually been fixated on this for years but i want to say its SO crazy that the people who didn’t get skinned alive, or expect that the tornado would start going off path actually ended up dying from a fungal infection is nuts to me. not everyone obviously, but that tornado was so strong it left visible scarification on the land that’s visible from space. it feels ignorant to say i want to experience one, or more CHASE a tornado after saying im fixated on joplin but wtfff they are so cool.
