Black people fight for everybody. We stand in solidarity with women, lgbt people, poor people all over the world of every skin color and background. Every religion and nationality.

Today, stand with us. Be with us. Tell a black person you love them. Hug a black person (with consent). Ask that hot black girl out today. Make a black person smile. Black lives matter to everybody and you matter to us.

Stand with us on Juneteenth like we stand with you all year round, and I hope a happy Pride month continues for all of us

the last time I reblogged this post right before I got a great job, in a permanent work-from-home position, with benefits, retirement, and a salary literally 3x what I was making before, doing something I really like.

My Mother 2 novel design interpretations. Tried getting as close to the text as possible but had my own interpretations of a few details. With Ness for example, I kinda just left him the same because the book doesn’t really get into what he’s wearing.

Sion are an amphibious species that has aspects of felines, cetaceans, and eels. Adults reach lengths of approximately 4.5-6 meters, with tentacle-like limbs and extremely long, strong tails. They have smooth, rubbery skin and long, thin bodies that enable them to thrive underwater, but they can also live on land, thanks to their PSI, which allows them to float and fly without difficulty. They have gills but can breathe air too, with a bit of elemental PSI used to alter air composition. Their whole lives and identities are centered around PSI: they use it to communicate, hunt, and overall assert themselves in their surroundings. It's their only defense mechanism besides their size and long, pointed teeth (for eating and biting the heck outta stuff that's PSI-resistant), so it's powerful to a point of absurdity.

They're generally seen by other races as really freaking scary because they've conquered a couple of planets for resources out of desperation before. The Starmen are a relic of that, being a subservient cyborg species from one such planet. Generally, they're intimidating since they don't emote like most sapients, speak strictly through telepathy, and can generally reduce things to a fine paste with just a glance. You'll find lone Sion living off on their own or in small family groups, but they don't mingle much with other sapients unless desperate or really, really angry.

Their home planet is an ocean planet, similar to Earth, with a few medium-sized landmasses. They initially began to set sights on other ocean planets due to natural disasters that disturbed the temperature and pH of their home, which affected the Sion poorly-- so, obviously, Earth was of interest. They have a bunch of self-governed, scattered societies both on their home planet and as nomads in space. Giygas was an orphan and a case study, where his group's scientists decided to explore human intelligence and empathy by getting George and Maria to raise him. But then George did his thing, and that made all of the Sion involved collectively freak the heck out and bail from the whole Earth operation, since they no longer had complete control of the situation, and we all know what happened next in Mother's story.

The Giygas species experiments to see if they can increase their PSI potential by interacting with other species, eventually reaching humans who grant them that potential—love. They realized that love hurts them and also significantly increases their PSI.

I think I'll host another one in October, make it Halloween themed (by suggestion of Anon :3) It'll probably in the beginning of October, tho. Anyway, when I've set the date I'll make a post about it. For now, I'll tag the people who participated :D
