This is a weird reply and weird hill to die on. it's not a 100% chance that you will get hate crimed but it literally does happen to people disproportionately trans people. Someone really close to me grew up in the south and almost died several times simply for their appearance. Another friend of mine moved down south and is terrified of presenting femme because people have been weird and violent toward him when he did dress femme. I get it you dont believe people should shave and thats nice and all and I don't believe people need to shave either but you can't sit here and tell me that not presenting your "socially assigned" gender doesn't have a consequence especially with how the united states is now.
