Yapping----- God this game captures the 2000s vibe perfectly like I dont think I've ever seen someone write characters in the 2000s (heavy on lane) so well. Im obvi not from that era but my parents are (lol yes they had me very young) and lane's interest, clothing, and music taste are just so perfect. Even the dynamic between lane and lub is just soo realistic. And all the posters and shit lane has around his apartment, ugh its so good. Also lanes mentality on mental health and not really feeling like he can go to anyone because hes a man (which is horrible but fitting ofc). Like back then there wasn't resources like we have now. And guys really were held to that higher standard of being the "man" of the house and not being soft because of their issues or whatnot. Which is why i feel like his character makes sm sense considering his relationship/experience with his mom and ex. Likeee he's so Eminem coded since they both got mommy issues and toxic exs lolol (he totally listened to "Kim" after his ex cheated on him…..) Anyway i could go on and on bc theres so many details but MWA loved this shift <3
