I PASSED THE FIRST INTERVIEW
I feel like every fashion choice I make brings me closer to evolving into a teenage boy. Cut my hair? Same shit I've seen a boy have in middle school. Wear a new shirt? Yeah I knew that kid.
ok I think y’all are ready to see transgender Frankenstein’s monster I did for class

Having a relative who denies climate change (still, yeah ik) is kinda funny because I get claims that there’a all sorts of articles that prove that it’s all a hoax and that the earth was destined to do this anyway. So as always I ask for him to send me these articles. A week or so passes, no articles get sent because there aren’t any, I do a quick search and find a decent article on how climate change is very fucking real and we are progressing the world’s temperature at an unpreccedent rate, send it to him and revisit the same “argument” next week.
Update: He sent me a source Redflag #1: His source is a facebook reel (I don't think I have to explain why this is a red flag) Redflag #2: A guy is green screened in to talk about how 'actually' these funny little articles you read, these media outlets that you listen to, are all fucking liars. Redflag #3: I checked one of the main sources which was Heartland Institute, googled it. It's a think tank originally spawned up by a tobacco company to lobby against smoking regulations. Now they've pivoted to global warming. And also hating on Democratic Socialists (DSA). I found it mildly amusing that people hankering for universal healthcare was enough to clock in the minds of this think tank as a threat (it could be connected to who funds the organization and what their own interests are-- like do their sponsors make their money off these private programs? I'd have to look into it.)
Came in to write about my yaoi, instead discovered the deep corruption of the legal system.
Jesus fucking christ never do three hours worth of sweeping and mopping just cause the old ladies are really nice and shit. Dear god my back has hated me for the past two days. Gotta sweep differently or some shit, sweet fucking jesus.
Having a dream feels like the most weird ass thing ever. The audacity I have to not just wanna do random part-time work for the rest of my life. "Aw little babby wants to be a doctorrrrr in this economy. Aw you stupid little nerdy fucking loser who can afford that?"
In the last 70 or so pages of Huckleberry Finn and I can say I really like the book. First off, very fucking funny (the duke and the king??? godddd). The style of writing is very simple and easy to read and once I started reading it kind of placated my own worries on not sounding astute enough when writing, that I should instead focus on the story as a whole and what I'm trying to say before considering how I tell it. **He writes brilliantly, and the man can write a good poem when he wants to. He's also really good at creating humor and suspense** Ofc being as old as it is, the book has its period-typical racism (I'm not talking about the slurs, rather the way they considered people). But in that I sort of grasped another through line, that what you consider to be normal talk or 'fact' could be another self-rationalized bias. Huck struggles throughout the whole story with this, and sometimes it feels like the narration itself struggles with considering Jim's perspective (given the pov is Huck himself this makes a lot of sense). The book is very good, and I find it interesting to use as an exaggerated (as all good stories are) perspective into what life was like in that era. What ways we've changed as a society, and what we've merely adapted to fit the times.

God I'm gonna make nachos tomorrow, gonna make the cheese roux and chop up leftovers and throw them on top and omg it's gonna be legendary.
Fucking wrecked that used books store. 16 books for about 175? Good shit. Reading Huckleberry Fin
Was reading a story and the character's kept going to the hospital, even for minor injuries. It seemed odd to me, because the first thought to me is "who's gonna pay for that?". Might just me being from the states, but do people actually go to the hospital when they are unwell? Like we only go there when we are literally dying. Kind of crazy to imagine how many illnesses we miss cause we're so busy trying not to go broke and neglect our health in the process.
Might get this job, cause it kinda sucks... butttt 1am shifts aren't so bad right?? Yeah....
Ngl I failed that interview so hard, but I managed to make the interviewer feel as uncomfortable as I did and I think that counts for smth.
“What’s your availability?”
“Any day but Wednesday”
“Why Wednesday?”
“For personal matters”
*Dude keeps asking even though I said it’s personal*
“To visit my uncle’s grave”
“…”
“…”
