Donât waste that countless hours in meaningless chats just because you are bored
A wise man will never reveal his secret to anyone. He wonât discuss formula of his secret medicine, his religious resolves, problems in family, consumption of bad food, and his sexual acts. Also, he will not indulge himself in such discussions.

How I learnt to study
During High school I was one of those students who never really had to work for my marks, I had the uncanny ability to leave my assignment till the night before and still manage full marks that is ..till I got to university, my first year was a disaster I was barely passing my units I was stressed and depressed, what got me through high school was clearly not working in university. So to stop my second year in university from being a disaster as well and to save my gpa I decided to learn how to study from scratch! Â spoiler: It worked and my marks have tripled since I adopted these habits. So here are the things I started doing!
- I invested in school supplies that I NEEDED and not just for aesthetic, example I bought tons and tons of basic cheap notebooks because I knew I was going to do a lot of writing and things like flashcards. My rule of thumb was if its functional its perfect.
- I attended every lecture and every class no matter what the time was! This is essential as it saves time later when you are rushing around trying to catch up.Â
- I tried to stay up to date no matter what! Before I would let lecture after lecture pile up but ever since doing this, my study life has been much easier to cope with.Â
- UNDERSTANDING EVERYTHING YOU LEARN FROM THAT WEEK, I cannot stress how much this has helped me. If I am learning about a topic in week 5, I have to understand it fully in week 5, not when I am in finals week and stressing out. I use resources such as textbooks and the internet to help me understand or I will ask my teacher. The important thing is I understand it fully.
- Be organised! Â Know when you have an assignment due, there are so many ways to do this. Handheld planner, wall planner, phone reminders, there is apps such as my study life. Anything that will remind you to get started on the thing before it is too late.
- Review your notes weekly or fortnightly!!! Memory works by relearning, instead of cramming the night before exams, review weeks before.
- Break down your essays weeks before its due, you donât have to start writing them right away but at least start thinking about them.
- Utilise any free time, for example instead of listening to music on my 45 min bus ride to uni I started listening to a psych podcast or doing my readings for that day.
- Have mental health days, I found out how difficult it is to study and how necessary it is to take breaks. Studying is stressful, have days/half days where you relax and look after yourself.
-Cut down on caffeine, I was a serial coffee addict, Im talking 4 shots a cup three times a day. Cutting down reduced my anxiety and got me sleeping more, which improved my mood and energy.
- Have a study buddy/group, find someone who is serious about their study and have study sessions with them, you get to study and have a social life.
- Find a study schedule that suits you, donât feel pressure to get up at 5 am if you find it easier to study at 6pm.
- Have a study place, that you know you will study in! It can be your local library, your desk, your bed. Anything that you find will work for you!
Okay if I were to reiterate the points that I think are true because it is EXACTLY my experience, then Iâd have to copy and paste everything! LEGIT EVERYTHING IN THIS POST - IF YOU WERE LIKE ME AND BREEZED THROUGH HIGH SCHOOL AND NOW UR IN LIMBO IN UNI THIS IS THE POST!!!!!
But also, go to lectures lmao
rabbits only flop over like that if they feel completely safe btw
to elaborate: bunnies are prey animals and almost never have their guard downâ even when theyâre resting theyâll usually have their back legs in a position that allows them to quickly run away. if theyâre jumping around it means theyâre extremely happy!! and if they flop down w/o a care that means they feel very very comfortable and safe to the point of not having to worry about their surroundings. ^__^
This is just the happiest video IMO.Â
âPLAY! FUN! Â Happy! Â Play?â Â *looks at dog* Â âNo, no play? Â Naps? Â Okay. Â Naps.â Â *flop*

How To Get A Job Fast As Hell
 @owenabbottâÂ
Apply to a  job, wait (1) day, then call.  Give them your first and last name. Tell them you submitted an application and that youâre very motivated to find [Enter field name] work. Let the conversation lead you wherever it takes. Be very polite. Sayâ thank you for your time, Iâll be looking forward to hearing back from you.â Rinse, repeat. This is to force them to be looking out for your application.Â
When you get to the interview, shake their hand firmly,  tell them your first and last name. Â
Describe your experiences  as â two years transcription and data entryâ if you have a desk job interview and â [however many years]  costumer service, retail and stockâ for your retail jobs. Â
Donât use job â buzz wordsâ I stg they hear them all day. Say  things like, â Iâm detail oriented and am very good at taking instruction.â  â I would like to work for a company with integrity and I feel that [ company name] would be a good fitâ
When they ask you if you have âreliable transportationâ say  YES. donât tell them what kind of transportation, just say yes. (if you donât do this, you wont get the job , Iâm telling you right now).Â
Research the company. Know what they do, why they do it, how OLD the company is. WHERE it was founded, and what kind of position youâre intending to apply for.
When they ask you â give us a situation where you had to blah blah blahâ Make one the fuck up. Make yourself sound good as hell, and like you put your companyâs needs slightly above the customerâs needs, but make the customer happy.Â
If they ask you about being outgoing, Say you âlike to focus on your work so you can concentrate on doing things rightâ (which buys you out of having to act friendly all the time)
Questions for after the interview:
1. Â Does this position offer upward mobility?
2. Do you enjoy working for the company? (if youâre not interviewing for a temp agency who will send you anywhere)
Then, shake their hand,  Ask them to repeat their name (REMEMBER THIS) say thank you for your time, wish them a nice day and leave. write their name down outside if you have to, just remember the fuck out of it.Â
AFTER your interview, send a card directed to the name of the person who interviewed you (Iâll give you them) that says âThank you for the interview, I appreciate the opportunity. have a great dayâ This shows  that you have an understanding of professionalism, and will have them thinking of you kindly (or at least remembering you) when theyâre shuffling through the choices.Â
DO NOT tell them you just moved to the city over the phone. Â In person, tell them you just moved to the city. Make it sound like the only reason you need a job is because you moved. Not because youâre desperate.Â
