“That’d be the dream,” he replied. “I don’t seem to be making much headway getting any better as a singer or dancer, compared to the crazy talent in the group, so maybe I should just start giving in and using my looks and height to my advantage…”

“You should! The best looking member is always the ones who get the most work on the side, anyway. Maybe you should try doing an idol drama! Or start posting more on your Instagram.” Piper continued to massage his hands and looked at him in the eyes with a grin resting on her lips, “You could so be a hallyu star.”

“Maybe once I can graduate from the idol lifestyle I’ll do more bold fashion choices,” he said with a chuckle. “Or if I ever get on the level of GD senior.”

“Ohmygod yes! You have to take me to Paris Fashion Week when you do.” Piper nodded and looked at him seriously as she took one of his hands out of the water and put some lotion on it, massaging it into his skin gently. 

“Ah, let’s just stick to clear. It might cause more heads to turn than I like if I come out on the tabloids rocking painted fingernails,” he said as he took a seat.

Piper came back with a bin of nail supplies and sat in front of him, placing two bowls of warm water beside him and placing his hands in them. “You know, a lot of rock stars wear black nail polish. Clear looks healthy though.”

“Alright. Why not? I’ve nothing to lose,” he replied. 

“Exactly! Okay c’mere and sit down. I’ll go get everything! What colour do you want?” 

“Hm…well when you put it that way…”

“And the best manicures are when you soak your fingers and get a hand massage first! ...want to?”

As tempting as the offer was, Seokjin didn’t know if he could let himself sink that far. “No, no it’s fine. I fidget a lot and might mess you up.” 

Piper smiled and sighed, “It would make for a cool abstract pattern but if you insist then I guess you’ll just never know the joy of a manicure.”
