What can i submit as a pin?

I consider anything decorative with some sort of connective backing a pin. I will accept submissions of enamel pins, die struck, metal, molded, acrylic, wooden, and plastic. I will also post and accept submissions of buttons and can badges! If you can pin it to your shirt, or your bag, then send it in.

I also request you keep all submissions in good taste. Nothing with hateful messages or iconography related to hate groups or military will be accepted.

Can we submit fan-made pins or pins made by independent artists?

Yes you can! I humbly request that you attach a link to or name of the store/artist in question for proper crediting/sourcing. If you are a small artist who has had your pin posted here, please tell me if you would like it to be taken down.

I submitted a pin and it hasn't been posted yet. What gives?

I am an adult with responsibilities and a life! Considering I only plan to post around 1-3 pins a day, it might take a while if the queue gets large enough! Please be patient.

I have a pin that I would like help identifying. Can I do that here?

Yes, but be prepared to wait a while if I start to rack up submissions. I love finding information on pins, but I am by no means a studied expert and it can be rough to find sources or information unless you give me a detailed story behind where your pin came from or where you got it. :P

Please do! Like I said above, I'm not a studied scholar on pins and pin making, merely an enthusiast. So any help or clarification would be helpful XD

I'd like to see more of a specific kind of pin!

As this blog gets more developed I plan to create a filter page with all my various tags of sources and makes! Keep an eye out. I will also edit this post with a hyperlink to it when it's set up enough :)
