There was nothing particularly magical about the morning I decided to start this blog. My tea had gone lukewarm. A breeze was moving through the curtain. The day looked like any other — grey sky, soft light, quiet. But for a moment, I caught myself watching the way the leaves moved outside and thought, “This could be a panel in a manga.” A soft pause. A breath between pages. And I realized… I want more of those moments. I want to live a life worth narrating.

This blog is me trying to do exactly that.

✧ Why Shoujo?

Shoujo stories have always made me feel like small things matter. Whether it’s the way Tohru Honda finds meaning in everyday kindness, or how characters in Nana carry heartbreak and hope in the same sentence — there’s something powerful about softness, vulnerability, and noticing little things.

Shoujo girls notice the rain. They monologue about their feelings on the train. They live like their story is just beginning.

You don’t have to be in love to live like that.
