just finished POTN and swore I would never cry to a bl but whyyy was the last panel so like, ethereal, like with the peach blossoms swaying in the air and the two hugging after not seeing each other for so long inside the beautiful wooden palace and the sun hitting in all the right ways. It also makes me sad that I could never experience this, and not in a yaoi way or a love way, it’s like, you don’t hear of these romantic swoooyie modern stories like that, it’s just everyone on their phone n stuff n I don’t wanna sound like an old head but I just wish I could’ve had a super romantic love story back then, not even just in Korea, where the story takes place but just back then when, let’s say, ex, long distance relationship is beautiful because it’s not just you sitting there on the toilet texting them or stalking their page and matching pfp, (n yes im romanticizing long distances rels back den bye) but back then it was in a more romantic sense because like, letters then, yearning and longing for someone even harder because you can’t instantly get a response from them, but I suppose I just wish I had a love story romantic and yet so tragic and filled to the brim with blood just to be with someone forever. oh the last panel reminded me of the song, forever by Barbara. very good. anyways I’m sad about jihwa bc i really liked his character and how he longed for someone who would never harbor anything for him back after jihwa was with him for so long… i really hope we see him again because he’s my fav and idc what anyone says he deserves a happy ending cs all he wanted was love. ok im done bye
