Hey please signal boost this if you follow me! I really don’t want to lose touch with some of the amazing people I’ve met in this community so please if you guys want to stay connected let me know asap! I don’t really know how to set up a discord chat but I’m looking into it and I’m sure many of you know how to, I think it would be great if we could all communicate on a different platform. This totally fucking sucks and Tumblr staff is a bunch of assholes for punishing the whole community because of others but there isn’t much we can do so please pm me if you are interested and for those of you I talk to regularly ask for my snapchat!!! 

Yes, we plan to allow NSFW content with very few restrictions. I don’t have any particular insight into why Tumblr is making this decision but if I had to guess, it’s because allowing NSFW content conflicts with their need for the site to be marketable and safe for advertisers– Pillowfort on the other hand plans to derive most of its revenue from user subscriptions, meaning that we will be beholden to our actual userbase and not outside advertisers and can therefore have more leeway in what we can host.
