Violet looked up from the little pink notebook and blinked owlishly at Misty, who stood fuming in the doorway.

“What?” she asked, the picture of innocence.

“Why are you reading my diary?!” Misty demanded, stomping over and ripping the diary out of Violet’s hands.

Violet rolled her eyes and crossed her arms. “Oh come on,” she scoffed. “You have some, like, great material for future water shows in there, and it’s not like there’s anything you’ve written I don’t already know.”

Misty’s face burned as she clutched the book to her chest, glaring daggers at her sister. “That’s beside the point!” she snapped. “It’s personal!”

Violet sighed, as if she was the one put out by this whole thing, flipped her hair over her shoulder and strolled out of the room, her hands help up in an ‘I surrender’ manner. “Fine, fine,” she conceded. “Not like I want to read another ten pages about how cute Ash is when he laughs, anyway.”

“Get out!” Misty cried as Violet laughed and skipped down the hallway. She slammed the door behind her and groaned, mentally counting down the days until her trip to Alola.
