But without generalizing it, I would consider you as a teenager starting from 13 up until the age of 18. Pre-teen is generally from the ages of 10-12 years of age, and children are considered to be from 1-9 years of age.

And although teenagers and children are two seperate groups, they are often lumped together to generalize and make things easier to describe—especially when filing paperwork and such else.

IE; legal guardian fills out a paper for the doctors or wherever else, the paper asks them if there are any children under their name, they would put your name so long as you are under the age of 18. It doesn't necessarily mean you are a child, it's just a generalized term.

But setting that aside; yes, you are considered to be a child up until you are 18. Both legally and in this generalized terminology.
