so the time has come for me to say good-bye, here anyways. I’m not trying to be dramatic but I figured since I have so many drafts I need to let people know that I likely won’t be coming back to this blog. indie rping has been great for me for a while, but more recently it’s become more of a burden and not healthy for me than anything. I’ve been in a better mood since I’ve quit, been more social and active because I haven’t pledged myself to the internet. not that I’m bashing people that are, just for me in particular, it’s not good for me. there was a time when I needed rp, it was a crutch that I absolutely depended on for a while but now? not so much. there are so many things I want to do with my life and in general and having all these blogs has been holding me back because I get so sucked in and I stop living, and 2015 is a time for me to change that. the last few years have been extremely rough for me and I finally feel motivated enough to try and change that. I need to really go out and live my life basically, and write more things that I can do stuff with later, like short stories or my own novel, who knows.
I’ve made some fantastic friends on here and met amazing people, but I’ve also seen a lot of ugliness and hatred and just toxicity that I need to get away from.
HOWEVER. I’m not technically *leaving* for good. I’m more, migrating to a 1x1/multi-muse blog. Basically, if you’re still interested in writing with me, I’m more than happy to write with you there. I’ll have a lot more freedom and not be weighed down by so much drafts and no muse. I know that I’ll be playing Katherine Pierce, Tamsin (Lost Girl), Dean Winchester, Faye Chamberlain, Rebekah Mikaelson, Damon Salvatore, Kate Argent, Blair Waldorf etc. Almost any muse I’ve played in the past plus whoever else I want or my partner wants pretty much, but this blog is highly selective & private.
There are a few stipulations to rping with me there, namely that I am only going to be writing longer/lengthy/novella style threads, and they need to be fully plotted out or at least a general scheme of something. I’m also leaning towards romantic plots, or shippy, not necessarily ‘romantic’ because I’ve barely rped things like that in the past two years and I want to. I don’t really need a reason lmao. Also I cannot and will not promise reply speed, it might be once or twice a week, it might be once a month. I will try to be somewhat consistent though, and I think it’ll be much much easier for me to with only one blog.
Any character is open for grabs though, I’m willing to try new ones as well. I don’t have a ‘limit’ of how many threads I’m gonna take on but I don’t really expect a bunch of people to be interested in this anyways lol so I think it’ll work out, even if I got a lot as long as I feel I can take my time thats not a problem for me. I just really need to do more eccentric plots and longer writing to continue to grow as a writer, which is what I’m really here for in the long run.
TL ; DR: I’m leaving here, I love you all, I’ll probably pop in sporadically, but if you ARE still interested in writing with me please follow my 1x1 blog and LIKE LIKE LIKE this post because I would be glad to message you and plan things out! I have a few people I will already be messaging. Though I would like to get fresh starts on everything, even if it’s a continuation of a plot. I don’t mind writing the starting posts.
