Marley: Oh, you're too sweet!

We were meeting each other’s parents. It really wasn’t bad at all. We haven’t had as much snow as I’d have wanted this year so far. It snows and then they take all of it away or it melts. But I’m sure we will have another winter storm really soon and it will shut down the city like two years ago!

I’m glad it went well for you guys. I don’t think I’ve ever had a relationship where we got to the “meet the parents” stage. I would absolutely love another winter storm. 

Good, good! I wish it was acceptable to walk around in blankets around campus.

I’d prefer them over a coat.

That would be great, and probably very comfortable. Although I do love my coats.

Ooh, nice!  I’ve never been to Texas, but I bet it’s nice there.

It’s pretty nice, I still prefer the cold though. Which honestly is something I never thought I’d say.

Well, fuck, not what I was expecting at all. 52 isn’t exactly warm.

It was a lot warmer than New York, but I’m back, my classes were awesome as always, and it’s cold. Everything I could ask for.

Definitely understand missing the city. I love it here too. But I’m starting to count down the days until I graduate. Not that I haven’t always known I was better than most of my peers, but the immaturity is becoming painful.

I’ve been trying to avoid thinking about when I graduate. If only because I have to go apartment hunting now.

Nothing beats home, but it’s nice to be back indeed. Since it’s almost as snowy as Colorado, it’s like I never left. Where’s home?

Texas, Colorado sounds like it’d be so nice. But I’m a big snow fan so maybe I’m a little biased.

To each their own. I’m just excited to see my boyfriend again. 

So many people are in a relationship and I’m glad this many people are finding someone.

I have no qualms in smuggling you into my dorm room, next year.

I feel like your roommate would have an issue with that, but I would love it.

Awesome, so then yes I’ve been quite prepared for this amazingly cold NYC weather.

Everyone’s going back to campus except me, I think. And my boyfriend. Honestly, I usually don’t go back till the last minute anyway, because I like to spend as much time with my mom as I can.

I hope you and your boyfriend had fun. I would love to spend all the time in the world with my family, just if they came to NYC for once so I wouldn’t have to leave the snow.

You really like snow that much?

Yes! I love snow, I grew up around sun, sun, and more sun so snow is like the best thing ever.

Totally. Once you move there you’re one of us.

That would make it more tolerable. I should just be one of those people that migrate with the seasons.
